On the second night of our drive from Spain to Greece in early August, we had read about this charming restaurant+hotel away from the center of the busy coastal area. The only problem was finding it: in spite of GPS, we ended up calling the owner who graciously came down to town to fetch us. Once there, you felt you were in someone’s villa above the sea. The food was fine, room was small and clean but had no air conditioning so in a very hot August a rotating fan had to suffice...mattress had little support. Breakfast on the terrace was excellent – the best croissants! If you have lots of time to wander, give it a try.
