Newly renovated apartment building near the sea in a quiet little village, perfect for a couple of days! We had a spotlessly clean two bedroom apartment on the second floor, well equipped, with all the amenities. Staff were courteous too. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay!

We stayed at Villa Susy for 2 nights after we traveled through Slovenia in August. The apartment was well equipped, clean & tidy. In my point of view this apartment is a good value for money. The surrounding is amazing, we walked the Rilke path to a little beach close to the cliffs and had brilliant afternoon. 

Short stay in Duino

Great price for the location, yet close enough to many sights for easy day trips. The kitchen was well stocked and it was very clean and quiet. I would recommend to a friend and would return again. 

The appartments were spacious and new. The kitchen was well stocked w/ more cooking supplies than I have ever seen in a weekly rental. It was spotlessly clean and nice and quiet at night. Wi Fi was good once you got the correct password and there was enough parking.
 
Not a bad thing but the owner doesn't really speak any English. Also it is easy to miss the sign for Villa Susy and the GPS coordinates lead you to a dead end road that you cannot turn around on. It is attached to a Bank, and is a light green buidling. It is on the same road as the Castle Duino and the Castle's parking area.

 The only compaint I would have is the A/C is kept quite warm(controlled by owner) at 24.6 C. so if you are in your room in the daytime it is very stuffy. At night, with the windows open, the ocean breeze keeps you cool.

Duino itself is a nice quiet town with a few restaurants and a nice market that also sells ice cream and pizza for take away.

Delightful Duino

quiet and a little remote place in Duino, nicely cool the studio in the basement, fridge wasn't really clean - this is why one star less than optimum .... friendly owner and cleaning stuff for chating at the terrrasse after time to leave ...

Great place to stay in alwways lovely Duino

We were two couples that stayed for 3 nights in a two bedroom apartment. The apartment is simple but clean and spacious. There is not really any beach in the town of Duino but it is easy to go to the next town for a decent beach (we were driving). A small supermarket is close to the residence and an ATM is in the next building.The owner of the residence was really friendly though he doesn't speak much English.

Good value

Modern building but no heart !
This is a house with several apartments to rent and own parking places. Modern building. The rooms are clean and equipped with new furniture but they are cheap and not cosy. The rooms are quiet.  The house equipment like dish and cutlery are not generously provided.  The property owner advices that you should NOT control the air-condition by yourself but from a central control (not available for adjustment). The provided (included) Wi-Fi is not stable. IOS machines have to be logged in every time again! This is not very practical.  There is no view over the village from most of the apartments. Maybe the upper apartments do have a view, but this is certainly not the main description of the villa.
The only few receptionpersonal do speak english!
