In search of a very pet-friendly apartment, we came across Residence Villa Susy. The owner is very friendly and our puppy Cooper was a very popular guest here. The apartment was very clean, equipped with everything you need: kitchen, bathroom, hallway, balcony bedroom (and of course air conditioning!). All within 5 minutes of the water. A very positive recommendation for all pet travelers!

Nice very central apartment - very pet friendly!

I stayed in Villa Susy during the weekend of 25 April 2022 with a friend and we found each other very well! the apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable, there was also the balcony we did not use because.. rain. Duino is a pleasant place and served very well to visit Trieste (there is the bus stop in front of villa Susy. Simone is very kind and very attentive to the needs of the guests. We recommend it!

Many advantages

Newly renovated apartment building near the sea in a quiet little village, perfect for a couple of days! We had a spotlessly clean two bedroom apartment on the second floor, well equipped, with all the amenities. Staff were courteous too. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay!

We stayed at Villa Susy for 2 nights after we traveled through Slovenia in August. The apartment was well equipped, clean & tidy. In my point of view this apartment is a good value for money. The surrounding is amazing, we walked the Rilke path to a little beach close to the cliffs and had brilliant afternoon. 

Short stay in Duino

We needed, my family and another family of friends, to stay in Trieste for the Easter weekend in front of the Castle of Caldino. Our apartment which was to accommodate 5 people (I, my wife and my three teenage children) so we opted for a nearby and quiet location, a short distance from Trieste (about 20 km) and it was a winning choice. The Residence Villa Susy, in fact, has spacious apartments, recently renovated, with a kitchen equipped, with free parking in a very green area in front of the Castle of Caldino. Our apartment which was to accommodate 5 people (I, my wife and my three teenage children) is made up of two bedrooms (one with a married and one with separate bedrooms), a bathroom with a bathroom with a bathroom and a living room with a bathroom with a bathroom and a bathroom with a bathroom in the corner of the hotel.

Comfortable, functional and quiet residence

We were hosted in a residential building, right in front of this: very clean, comfortable, air-conditioned apartment, spacious and complete kitchen with everything, spacious bathroom with shower, living room with sofa, sofa bed and TV, large room with double bed and accommodating closet, private terrace. Wifi perfectly functioning available. Very quiet and quiet. Internal parking. Two steps from the beginning (or the end) of the SENTIERO RILKE, two steps from the Castle of Timber Duino. Bus to Trieste or Monfalcone, practically below. Ten minutes walk from the beautiful portico of Duca. Five cars to the Sorgento system.

The Perfect Place for a Perfect Holiday

Apartment renovated in 2011, modern furnishings, clean, TV and wifi, air conditioned, quiet, well-attracted, kitchen equipped, dishwashers. Near Duino Castle and super Conad. we had a large trilocale, 2 double rooms and living room with kitchen, 2 balconies.

Modern building but no heart !
This is a house with several apartments to rent and own parking places. Modern building. The rooms are clean and equipped with new furniture but they are cheap and not cosy. The rooms are quiet.  The house equipment like dish and cutlery are not generously provided.  The property owner advices that you should NOT control the air-condition by yourself but from a central control (not available for adjustment). The provided (included) Wi-Fi is not stable. IOS machines have to be logged in every time again! This is not very practical.  There is no view over the village from most of the apartments. Maybe the upper apartments do have a view, but this is certainly not the main description of the villa.
The only few receptionpersonal do speak english!

Modern building but no heart !

If you want to be independent in and around Trieste, you're right here. A spacious apartment with well-equipped kitchen lines, something very convenient and not overloading, but you have everything you need. Especially pleasant: a good shady parking space. The Sentiero Rilke starts right across the street and you can also walk to the beach! Extremely forward owner, who is always accessible!

Recommended for a quiet stay

I stayed at the residence Villa Susy for a weekend in mid-July and I must say it was a very good choice. I needed a very quiet environment and I found the right place. I was in apartment no. 10, on the top floor but with a beautiful view from the balcony. The apartment is spacious, bright, clean and with modern furnishings...a real jewel.
