This quaint hotel was right in the heart of the tourist area of Florence. We were steps from the Duomo and the Accademia Gallery. The hotel is on a pedestrian street with many eating and shopping choices just outside the door.  The room was fine. . .sparsely decorated but clean and quiet with a private veranda. The staff isn't on site 24 hours, so just be sure to let them know when you're arriving and checking out.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION

There was a bad problem with the water heater. IN MID-SHOWER the water suddenly went ice cold on you. And then you need to step out of the shower, reset the water heater and wait a couple of minutes. 
Now the guy did warn us that this might happen. We just didn't think it was gonna happen EVERY SINGLE TIME. Very frustrating. 

Location was amazing.  1 minute walk from the Piazza del duomo. Price was suprisngly low. Appartment was clean, spacious, well furnished and modern. 

If ignoring the water problem, i'd easly give 5 stars. Unfortunatly it was really frustraiting and spoiled the experience. 


Superb location, serious problen with the shower.

This place was better than expected ... a few 100 metres from the Duomo, and a huge room for the family. A/C, fridge, coffee machine, wifi and a big room.
photo's can be deceptive because there are several locatoipns across town under this contract, but i speak as i find and our family were very happy !!
they also helped with parking etc... so very happy !

Great Location, great Room !

We enjoyed our stay here. Check in was quick and easy (be aware check in times are limited) and our room was a good size. The air conditioning was poor, which was a shame as it was extremely hot while we were there but the Wifi was good and the bed was comfortable. The room also had a fridge and a dining table which was useful.

Good location and good size room

I'm surprised by the great reviews that this hotel got. While the location is very close to the duomo, the room itself was quite disappointing. The bathroom was tiny and was in somewhat of a closet-like door and was definitely old with mildew in many areas. Because it was not its own separate room, it caused the whole bedroom to have that mildew-like smell. There was also a tiny window in the bedroom that did not have a good view. In comparison to all the other hotels I stayed at across my Italy trip, this was definitely the one I enjoyed the least. That being said, we were only there for one night and wanted something close to the main attractions, which it was. I would definitely look for a nicer place if I were to return.

Good location but very disappointing room

This hotel middle of the city, 1 minuets from Piazza Del Duomo, quiet and nice room with air conditioning and comfortable beds, small bathroom and no elevator but very nice!

Central hotel

Reasonable price with a basic room which was clean and comfortable. The best aspect of it is the location right near the Duomo yet the room was quiet. Description says B&B but there was no breakfast offering, there is a place right across the street though

Good location 

All of Florence is expensive. This choice of apartments in Piazza della Repubblica is average to good. Check in is elsewhere rushed and brusk. Air con and wifi worked but hot water sometimes switches off. Clean and beds comfortable. I will not return but it's not a bad choice if you want to stay in the area. 

It's OK 

Great find only a stones throw throw from Il Duomo right in the centre of Florence and easy walking to all the sights, shopping and restaurants.  Basic room though very clean and comfortable,. The reception is on the 1st floor up steep stairs but staff will help with your bags. One thing to mention is the shower is a little quirky with quite a large step up,  may not suit older people or if you are a little unsteady.  Only a minor comment, we would definitely stay here again. 

Location, location, location

You will hear rats running around on the ceiling and even in the room when you are sleeping!!!
Also the WiFi is NOT working at all - we told the front but they didn't fix it for us.
This is the worst experience we have ever had. Wouldn't recommend to stay

その前からWifiが使えなかったり、フロントで異臭がしたりしてかなりテンションが下がっていましたが、朝起きると何かが床を歩く音がしてもう最悪。ネズミか何かだと思いますが、、天井からもトコトコ聞こえ、もう気持ち悪くてすぐにチェックアウトしました。
場所はいいですが、おすすめしません。何故レビューがいいのか全くわかりません。
