What was bad

I booked this hotel because of these points: 1. location: proximity to the train station 2. 3 stars and good rating 3. the breakfast was described as "extremely good". In reality... Yes, it's close to the train station. 5 minutes maximum. But for the rest... The room was terrible, poor, dark, with the strong smell of tobacco. When I asked if they can change a room, the hotel manager told me: "You've booked a room, you've got the room. If I changed the room for every client who is not happy with it, it would have been a mess. It's not my problem." So I got it: 1. many clients are not happy with their rooms. 2. client's demands are not a problem for the manager. Well, I got used to the conditions. Thanks to the cleaning managers, they cleaned the room every day and changed the towels. The breakfast was... Surely not "extremely good". But normal. Some croissants (from the supermarket I guess), some bread, always the same ham and cheese, flakes, jam and some fruit. The great location and unbelievable beauty of the city made me tolerate the rest. But there is much to be improved in this hotel. And I would begin with the manager's attitude to the word "service".
