What a wonderful time at this location. Laura, the host was so friendly. She was very helpful to share information regarding the area and restaurants. Laura, who speaks fluent English, made us feel so relaxed and at home.  
The breakfast every morning was wonderful. Nice amount of food. Served right on time to our door and our room was very spacious and clean ! 
The location was on a nice quiet and historic street, but yet only a few blocks away from all the activity, the Ponte Vecchio Bridge and the Arno River. 
A wonderful B & B to stay at !! We highly recommend it!

Great Host and perfect location !

That's an amazing place in a heart of Florence. Very quite area. The Master of this home - madam Laura is friendly, helpful, hospitable lady with fluent english. The breakfast was rather good, wi-fi rather fast, the room was clean, big and old-fashion style) I was happy to stay in this home. Next time will come here again))

Small home far away from home

Right in the middle of beautiful quarters of St Trinitá, so much to discover. Good vibes in a palace just behind Arno on the via Borgo Santi Apostoli. Great reception from Laura and Paul. We felt at home immediately. Rooms clean and big enough for the two of us. Sufficient breakfast with excellent capuccino in the morning. We are happy to have found a place we would like to return when we go to Firenze (not Florence) now and then. This will be our base for the future.

When Florence became Firenze

Excelente B&B en pleno centro de Florencia, ideal para recorrer la ciudad (ubicación realmente inmejorable). La habitación en la que nos quedamos era muy grande y cómoda,  y se encontraba decorada con muy buen gusto.  El baño privado queda fuera de la habitación (cada habitación tiene su propio baño privado fuera de las respectivas habitaciones), y es realmente cómodo y moderno, además de contar con artículos de aseo como jabón, shampoo, gel de ducha, etc. El wifi funcionó siempre muy bien.

El desayuno se sirve en las habitaciones y consiste en una bandeja muy abundante con diferentes cosas (mayormente de bollería) que pueden ir variando: café, jugo, tostadas, croissants, diferentes mermeladas, croissants con jamón y queso, mini porciones de alguna tarta dulce, etc. Un detalle que nos gustó mucho fue que para darle variedad entre un día y otro, en la segunda mañana reemplazó alguno de los ítems por un vasito con cereales y leche. Adicionalmente, en la habitación había permanentemente una bandeja con frutas frescas (bananas, manzanas, ciruelas, uvas, etc.), ideal para los que prefieren comer desayunos un poco más sanos o un snack saludable por las tardes. También había un tarro con galletitas y dos mini chocolates, que eran riquísimos.

Laura es una excelente anfitriona, y su presencia en el B&B es constante, lo que siempre es muy bueno en este tipo de alojamientos!  Ya desde antes de nuestra llegada respondió con mucha celeridad y amabilidad a todas nuestras consultas, y una vez en el B&B su dedicación fue absoluta: por ejemplo acordaba con nosotros una hora para llevarnos el desayuno a la habitación o bien cuando escuchaba que nos levantábamos nos ofrecía si queríamos desayunar; el primer día nos preguntó luego del desayuno si nos había resultado suficiente la comida (debo decir que nosotros somos de buen comer y no lo habíamos podido terminar, era realmente muy abundante!);  cuando nos escuchaba entrar o salir nos preguntaba si estaba todo bien,  cuáles eran nuestros planes para ese día o si lo habíamos pasado bien. Finalmente, el día del check out arreglamos con ella para dejar las valijas hasta las 5 de la tarde, ya que teníamos un vuelo por la tarde a Roma. Ese día luego de haber dejado la habitación, como llovía, nos ofreció prestarnos un par de paraguas para no mojarnos durante nuestro paseo por Florencia (y no tener que comprar uno). Se nota que es una anfitriona que está absolutamente dedicada a su B&B y a que los huéspedes lo pasen genial durante su estadía. 

Lo recomiendo muchísimo y definitivamente volvería!!

IN ENGLISH:

Excellent B&B right in the centre of Florence, ideal to tour around the city (the location is really unbeatable). Our bedroom was very large and comfortable, and was tastefully decorated. The private bathroom is outside the bedroom (each bedroom has its own private bathroom outside the respective room), and it is really comfortable and modern, in addition of having toiletries such as soap, shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, etc. The wifi was always available and working (the connection was very good).

The breakfast is served at the bedroom and it is a very large tray with different things (mostly pastries) that may be changing on the different days of your stay: coffee, juice, toast, jams, ham and cheese croissants, tiny portions of some sweet cake, etc. A detail that we really like was that to provide variety between one day and the other, in the second morning one of the items was replaced by a glass of cereals and milk. Additionally, in the bedroom there was permanently a tray with fresh fruits (bananas, apples, plums, grapes, etc.), ideal for those who prefer eating a healthier breakfast or a healthy snack in the afternoon. There was also a jar with cookies and two mini chocolates, that were really good.

Laura is an excellent hostess, and her presence at the B&B is constant, which is always a very good thing at this type of accommodation! Even before our arrival she responded very quickly and kindly to all our questions, and once at the B&B her dedication was absolute:  for example she scheduled with us an hour to bring breakfast to the room, and if that was not the case, she waited until she heard us wake and then knocked on the door to offer breakfast; on the first day after breakfast she asked us if the food had been enough ( I must say that we are good eaters, but it was impossible to finish it, because it was really a lot of food!); when she heard us entering or leaving she always checked with us if everything was OK, what our plans were for that day or if we had a good time. Finally, on the check out day we arrange with her to leave the bags until 5 in the afternoon, as we had an afternoon flight to Rome. That day after leaving the room, as it was raining, she offered to lend us a couple of umbrellas so we would not get wet during our walk around Florence (and also to avoid buying one). You can tell that she is a hostess who is absolutely dedicated to her B & B and to make sure that the guests have a great time during their stay.

I highly recommend it and I would definitely return!!


Excelente B&B en el centro de Florencia

Wonderful, knowledgable host.  Speaks excellent English and gave some good local tips and dinner recommendations.  Great location that is walking distance to all the sights and not too far from train.  The room was quiet and clean and a good size.  Hope to go back sometime!
