We spent 5 wonderful days at Palazzo Alfieri in August 2026, traveling as two couples to celebrate a 40th birthday. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. The staff is not only super friendly and warm, but exceptionally professional. A few highlights that made our stay truly special: Unmatched Birthday Surprise Service: Prior to arrival, we arranged for a bottle of Prosecco and a chocolate cake to be placed in the birthday couple’s room at check-in. The front desk team executed this surprise flawlessly. They even removed the extra charge for the cake and Prosecco from our check-in receipt so the couple wouldn't suspect a thing while we were all settling our rooms! That level of thought and attention to detail is rare and deeply appreciated. Proactive Customer Care: When the AC in our room wasn't cooling properly, the staff immediately tried to fix it. After a couple of attempts, they proactively offered us a room change. Handling an issue so smoothly and generously speaks volumes about their commitment to customer service. Delightful Breakfast: The breakfast buffet is small, cozy, and packed with a fantastic variety of high-quality items to choose from. The complementary Prosecco was a wonderful bonus touch that the ladies thoroughly enjoyed! Prime Location: The hotel’s location in the center of Florence is unbeatable—ideal for walking everywhere and exploring the city effortlessly. Thank you to the entire team at Palazzo Alfieri for making our celebration so memorable. We would love to stay here again!
