Elisabetta our host was exceptional. A wonderful lady who welcomed us to her beautiful home / B&B. The room was large and so well appointed. Great view out onto the local area. 
So well located literally inbetween palazzo Pitti and Piazza Santa Spirito. 
Elisabetta gave us maps and recommendations of amazing places to walk and the best dining options. 
She also prepared the most beautiful breakfast each day with fresh fruit, cheese, meats, bread and homemade marmalade and cakes. Any style eggs if we wanted. 
A truly wonderful stay in a beautiful city.

Amazing

My wife, two daughters (aged 10&8) and I stayed in the Orange Room at B&B Bonsignori, Florence, Italy, very clean & comfortable. The B&B is in a historic building and has been lovingly restored by the owners who live next door. The B&B has all mod-cons including Wi-fi & en-suite shower rooms. Situated south of the river over the Santa Trinita bridge, well situated for our two day visit to Florence exploring the beautiful city.

The Pitti Palace & amazing gardens were a stones throw behind the B&B, the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge just a 5min walk away.

Our host Elisabetta, welcomed us with a smile and couldn't have been more helpful, offering city guides for the kids, recommending restaurants and attractions. Breakfast was laid out each morning offering a traditional continental style breakfast, a good start to the day.

We would most definitively return / recommend you stay at B&B Bonsignori. Just note you are on the second floor with no lift access (wasn't a problem for us) and the road outside was busy (if you're not used to city life).

B&B Bonsignori - perfect location to explore Florence - recommend you stay here!

This was a wonderful, cozy, clean, beautifully decorated apartment/B and B in a great location in Florence. It's on the second floor of an old palazzo, and Elisabetta, the very warm and friendly host, has done a lovely job decorating so that it has every modern convenience but retains the old-world charm of an ancient Italian destination. She is helpful with suggestions of where to visit (we LOVED San Miniato al Monte, which she told us to visit instead of the more popular and touristy Piazzale Michelangelo) and is also hands-off and lets you relax. The breakfast was fresh, simple and tasty - great coffee machine for espresso or cappuccino, fresh-baked cakes/muffins, toast, yogurt and fruit. The bed was super comfy and the room was immaculately clean. The location was fabulous - walking distance from all the sights, but not right in the center where it's too noisy. I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!!

A Wonderful Visit!

This B&B is clean and cozy. The bed was big and comfortable enough to sleep on. One thing I appreciated was that they offer both still water and sparkling water for guests in the dining area! The location was not bad as it was on the main road. However, just like many other buildings in Italy, there was no lift! Without the help of the host, I wouldn’t be able to carry my luggage up and down third floors! 

Nice B&B

We stayed in Elisabetta’s lovely B&B on our trip to Florence.  It was me, my daughter (8), and my sister in law.  My daughter and I shared the king bed and my SIL stayed in the single bed.  The room was large and lovely (we were in the Orange Room).  It had its own bathroom and air conditioning.  We were in a great location - off the main area in front of Palazzo Pitti, but still within 15 mins walk of anywhere we wanted to go.  We had the luck of staying when the calcio storico was being played and Santo Spirito won - made for a fun celebration as Santo Spirito Church is right down the street.  I highly recommend!

‘Lovely stay’

➕ We stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect place for our visit. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Elisabetta was a wonderful host and the location of her property was perfect. A couple minutes walk from the Boboli Gardens, and short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery.

This wouldn’t put me off staying here again but there wasn’t a lift and the property was on the 2nd floor. I don’t mind walking up stairs but may be problematic with visitors who have larger luggage or accessibility requirements.

Lovely stay!

We had a fantastic time staying here. Your hostess Elizabetta is charming and makes the BEST breakfast surprise treats, in addition to a lovely selection of continental food.
The room we had was well air conditioned and great. I was amazed at the 13th century chevrons adorning the wooden beamed ceilings. It was like discovering our own hidden gem. Lovely stay, cannot recommend it enough. See you next year. xxx

Charming B&B gracious hostess Elizabetta

What a haven this charming little B&B was to stay at. Located in the Oltrano just off the busy tourist track...only 2 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. We stayed in the orange room which was very spacious clean and comfortable. Had access to common room and dining room with fridge. Room was equipped with AC and ended suite bathroom. The owner's charming daughter Marie met us and gave us helpful guides for sightseeing. She also came each day to prepare a lovely breakfast for us! Loved having a cappuccino machine and electric kettle to access. Can't say enough great things about this wonderful b&b. Thank you!!!

Just Excellent!

Situated in a typical Florence building, going through the door off the street is like stepping into a Dan Brown novel.  Situated on the second(3rd if you are from the USA) this delightful bed and breakfast resides.  Modern in its interior decor it was spotless and the air conditioning in the bedroom was a god send, plenty of breakfast and located close to The Pitti Palace. Highly recommended 

Lovely stay

We stayed here for a 1 night visit in the orange room. It is huge and very comfortable. The views onto Via Maggio was a treat especially in the evening when the street filled with locals, musicians and closed to vehicle traffic. The noise could not be heard from our room. if you would love an authentic stay in a good neighbourhood that is better than a hotel could provide, stay in this palace that has been so tastefully renovated.
