I spent two nights at this hotel between Christmas and New Year’s before and after a one-day trip to San Giovanni.  The room was modern and clean. No wall windows but two bright skylights. The morning breakfast selection and display was to very impressive and the staff was most helpful and gracious. 
The staff spoke just enough English to guide through the town. This is not the Ritz but I highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again on my next visit.

Ho trascorso due notti in questo hotel tra Natale e Capodanno prima e dopo un giorno di viaggio a San Giovanni. La camera era moderna e pulita. Nessuna parete windows ma due lucernari luminosi. La colazione la mattina la selezione e la visualizzazione è molto impressionante e il personale era il più gentile e disponibile. Il personale parlava solo inglese abbastanza per guidare attraverso la città. Questo non è il Ritz ma consiglio vivamente questo hotel e ci tornerò di nuovo sulla mia prossima visita.

Great place to stay

The location of the hotel is very central and within a restored historic building. The room and hotel were nice and clean although the room was rather small for a double, and rather lacking in daylight or view, with one high window.
The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay and the breakfast buffet adequate.

Central location, friendly service.

Centrally located, clean hotel in Foggia. Spacious rooms but no Real windows on top floor. No wifi. Ok value for money.

Good hotel in Foggia

The hotel is a restored convent but there was no window in our two room suite and it was therefore stuffy and dark. It had a kitchen but no plates, cutlery nor a kettle. So we couldn’t use it at all. Breakfast spread was decent but water in the flask was tepid so my tea wasn’t great. The staff were cheerful and friendly and the room was clean but for what it cost us, I wasn’t impressed and wouldn’t be back.

Friendly staff but disappointed

I stayed in this hotel for a couple of days. On my second day, I forgot valuable RayBan sunglasses on the table in my room. When I returned to the hotel, I did not find my sunglasses, they were stolen from the table in my room!!! Reception didn`t do any attempt to solve the problem, I was told that have the right to go to the police. Stay away from this hotel!!!

Stay away from this hotel!

I arrived in Foggia after along drive, and tired, checked the Trip Advisor site for suggestions.  Though this looked like a charming place, it was downright awful, to the point that I cannot possibly ever trust booking a top rated hotel from the trip advisor site without doing further outside investigation.  Top points:  very blasé young desk clerk, in no way capable of bing the sole employee on duty at a hotel, as unhelpful as could be.  Room stunk like a stale dirty ashtray, had gnats buzzing around the room keeping me awake, sheets with a stiff roughness that felt like polyester, and to top it all off, the noisy AC would not allow a setting below 27 C, or 80 F.  The breakfast buffet was grim, with pastries wrapped in cellophane, and actually looked like twinkles.  An very grumpy girl at the coffee bar roamed the empty room making gruff slamming noises while grimacing.  The night of our arrival, the restaurant was closed, and the clerk said she could offer no suggestions for any restaurant in the city, because "everything in town was closed that day for a soccer match." They seemed to not offer any room service.  Well, I walked 2 blocks and ended up having a very pleasant dinner at the Hotel Mercure.  I wished I had booked a room there as well, as it seems infinitely better, staffed with pleasant professionals, rather than sullen youngsters without a clue.  The only pros that I can think of are the neighborhood, and perhaps that they offer parking space.
