Chosen organised camping due to Coronavirus and camping is mixing too many different target groups. Felt with our tent in the midst of permanent mobile homes out of place. However, super clean facilities, nice swimming pool, and easy access to beach.

Too similar to a holiday resort

Stayed in a spotless Mobile home with my hubby and 2 sons Site was well kept and very clean Boys enjoyed the pool area but all the animation was in Italian despite there being a good few English speaking people on site Very strict rules for children at pool No balls allowed in pool No jumping in etc Could have been a bit more lenient 
Complimentary bus service to Gallipoli each night was excellent and as we had a car we drove to other fabulous little towns
Beach was small but lovely with easy access from the site 
Music all day long both from campsite day & water park next door but you would get used to it
Bike hire on site which we found very reasonable 
Overall a very good Italian campsite 

Family visit 

Very well run campsite. Efficient service for booking and check-in (thanks to Marco & Gianfranco). Stayed in a new Mline mobile chalet which was spotless and very well equipped. Great pool area ... strictly supervised! Several dining options. Great that it was very Italian but could have additional information in English.

Excellent stay

Touring Lecce in our mororhome we decided to stop at masseria Galliopoli. 
This site is a large area with excellent amenities. 
A fabulous swimming pool, suitable for all ages with a bar and areas with sun loungers. Regular aerobic classes are taken in the pool with bikes in water and trampolines to music which is great fun to watch or if prefer to join in. Children’s area, disabled access, 2 whirlpools and showers. 👍🏻Down side is they  make a charge of 3 Euro for a swimming hat which you have to wear. 
The whole camp site is kept in a pristine fashion. 
Staff are very helpful and polite and the site has a great security. 
Site is not far from beach which you can access by cycle or walking under a tunnel where there is a bar and a terraced area for fitness classes. Beach is pebbly and rocky at the front. 
This site has coffee bar, a small shop that offers most food items and an assortment of goodies that you may require whilst based on site. Great laundry room that I did use (4 Euro ) for washing machine and iron and ironing board inplace for clients to use. 
Very spacious parking and cost is very reasonable. 
A free shuttle bus is offered from the camp site to Gallipoli sonwe tool advantage of this and went to the Old Town there. Worth a visit. Very impressive walled town with remnants of Castle that you can enter. Lots of bars restaurants and a beach.

Bad WiFi, noice from animation in the evening. 
During low season good price and good accommodation for camping with children.

Camping village

Based on generally available information, this camping site gives a good impression, but I have to say I was quite disappointed with man aspects. Traveling with the family, the pool and the beach area are important for the kids to enjoy their time. The beach area is very small and at least at the time we visited the site, the water was everything else but clean and clear. At the pool, I got the impression that children were not welcome, but a separate area for kids was not available. The kids' play ground was very good though, centrally located close to the restaurant and the central show area. Also the security aspect was very positive.

Not too good

We have just come back from 4 nights here in a Happycamp mobile home. It’s the first time we have stayed in a small park and were pleasantly surprised. It has its own private(small shingly) beach with beach bar & bathing platforms, a fantastic large pool (bathing cap required) and lovely shady pitches to combat the heat. There is a childrens playground, which there were enlarging when we were there & shop on site selling local produce, bread etc. Pretty much next door is a large supermarket for a bigger choice. There is also a restaurant & café bar opposite reception where you can get food drinks and free wifi (30 mins every 6 hours). The site is only a few minutes drive from the lovely old town of Gallipoli and and there are some really great beaches south of the town. The water is crystal clear and the water shallow perfect for children. They are quiet in the week but pretty crowded at weekends. The siesta time is enforced in the park with no driving in the afternoon and between about 1 & 3.30 you will pretty much have the pool area to yourself. At 4.30pm the music starts and so does water aerobics etc. The staff were all friendly especially the ones from Happycamp but rules like bathing caps and no driving on site are enforced.  The happycamp mobile homes are near the Aqua park /disco which doesn't open til June 10th so was very quiet. Not sure how noisy this would be when its open.

Lovely small campsite with huge pool area

Stayed in a couple of the static caravans with a group of friends and small children. This is an easy going, well run, very clean and safe site. Pool area very pleasant, shop sells loads of local produce and the on site pizzeria excellent. Noise from water park next door loud during day and still audible at night but generally the site is peaceful. Beach area attractive and well kept with a good little bar. When we went we were the only Brits on the whole complex, which we enjoyed. The staff were friendly and responded warmly to our feeble attempts at Italian. Security at the site is very tight 24 hrs and the guards are no-nonsense but helpful when you rock up much later than check in time! Be aware that Reception will charge local tax and a chunky deposit when you arrive. We got ours back no problem though and we were even waived the cleaning fee at the end by doing the job ourselves. 

Oh and the local wine is fantastic value and quality. There are a number of ships round the corner including a very decent supermarket. 

All in all an excellent little holiday in a pleasant corner of Italy. Highly recommended for families.
