Highly recommend this B&B! It is centrally located. The room is spacious and clean. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Breakfast delicious! The host was welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely stay at this B&B again upon my next return to Genoa. Grazie mille!

Wonderful Stay in Genoa

My flight to Genoa was diverted to Turin because of bad weather and the  hotel owner refused to allow me to arrive after 9 pm, even though he knew my circumstances. 
So I had to find and pay for another hotel for that night. I   notified the owner twice during the first night,  that I would stay the second night that I had also booked for. I arrived with my suitcase late the next morning and was refused entry as he said I’d cancelled  the whole  booking which was totally incorrect.
So i paid for 2 nights that I never used!!

Avoid

We arrived to the hotel and the hotel owner refused to give US a room. About a quarter of an hour before 20:00 he informed me in an e-mail that the room can be received until 20:00 only. I wrote to him that there is heavy traffic on the roads and I might be late and asked him to wait for me since we are after a journey of many hours. We arrived at the hotel about five minutes after eight. Then it turned out that the address was inaccurate and the hotel owner did not answer the phones. Listed on the booking website Building 1/19 but when you arrive there is 1a / 19 and there is 1b / 19 and there is 1c / 19. But the hotel owner did not answer the phone. In my opinion this is impudence and disrespect and contemptuous behavior of the owner. The hotel owner refused to wait even though he knew we did not know the place and there were traffic jams. pure shame. I do not understand how a booking company markets such a hotel


Be careful for Your money

We spent one night In Genova, the first meeting of the owner was very positive, he is full of joy and friendly. When we arrived our room wasn't ready, and we had to wait two hours (meanwhile spent listening to him a stories of Genova, and some suggestions and place worth to visit- he is a very knowledge guy that can talk for hours without a break) but some informations weren't 100% true, the prospects are not updated. The breakfast I cannot call breakfast cause it's a little basket of some croissants, marmalade and mini-toast - day he talked about it I checked it there was also a little Nutella, day after somebody took it and was there no more. The zone there is very dangerous, much noise during the night. B&B is still open for a short time (1 year and a half) - the quality of the furniture and equipment is still fine, but might be problem after a certain period. If you want save some money, it's a good choice - but for not more than 1night.

Una follia 

Owner does not live on site so difficult to arrange access especially if arriving later in the day. Also we found it quite difficult to find the location. It is walkable from the train station. Harbour is opposite. Located in a very old building. Breakfast is a packed lunch. However there is use of a shared kitchen if u wanted to bring something. The rooms are large and modern to say they are in an old building. Bathroom - very new and nice. A bit overpriced for what it is. Owner is very nice and friendly.
