My husband and I had a marvelous stay at B and B Lercari. The room and bathroom are sparkling clean, the bed is very comfy, the linens are beautiful, the ceiling is gorgeous, the room is very quiet. The location is perfect- very close to where you want to visit but not in the congested center. And this is not all you get with a stay here.... you also are treated to a fabulous, homemade breakfast! Everyday of our four  day stay was something different - farinata, focaccia, warm chocolate cakes, panettone, chocolate panettone, pear jam, fresh fruits, cheeses, Genovese salamis, crackers, breads, coffee, yogurt! Wow! (And she especially made FABULOUS gluten free goodies for my celiac husband) Stefania is a marvelous baker and a marvelous person. She is warm, welcoming and just the kind of person who should run a bed and breakfast. We greatly enjoyed all the information she shared with us about Genoa and we enjoyed just chatting with her as a new friend. We look forward to returning one day. Book your stay here! You will be so glad you did. We were sad to say goodbye.

Meraviglioso!

We stayed at B&B Lercari over Easter weekend in 2018.
Location is perfect, close to city centre, viewing points, shops, restaurants, banks, public transport.
The apartment is really beautiful and its layout provides privacy for guests. 
The landlady, Stefania, and her family made us feel like at home.
Stefania is an excellent baker and her breakfast is divine!
Thank you Stefania, we would love to stay with you again next time we visit Genoa.

Fantastic B&B in Genoa city centre!

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst sightseeing in Genova. Everything was top quality and we had a great stay. A lovely welcome, delicious breakfast of typical Ligurian food and spotless surroundings. Very handy for the city centre but in a quiet location with easy access to a lovely viewpoint. 

Stefania recommended good local places to eat which were modestly priced and we had a great time! Thank you!

Could ask no more!

We stopped here for one night in genoa as a stop of point on our European driving holiday. We found the hotel, which lead me up a massive flight of stairs, into the apartment block which was on the second floor, they do have a lift. I managed to check us in while my partner waited in the car. She was very welcoming and friendly. She showed us to the garage which was just across the road and a locked garage for €18.00. She helped us with our luggage, and the little b&b she had was lovely and clean. The room was very nice and bright, towels were quite small but manageable. Very clean and comfortable. Then she showed us the main sights in genoa. The next day for breakfast she made a lovely spread of local cake and focaccia bread, fruit, water, juice, Italian coffee. You can sit out on the balcony but unfortunately it was raining. She bagged us up some of the focaccia that we couldn't manage, away with us, Superb!!! I would highly recommended this b&b to anyone the lady was very lovely!

B&B with superservice and friendliness

We did not realize how conveniently located this B&B would prove to be until we stayed there for 3 nights and did a lot of walking around Genoa.  It is a very short walk to so many areas of the city, and also convenient for buses, in case you want to visit the famous cemetery (highly recommended!).  Stefania is a terrific hostess, very charming and welcoming, very helpful.  When we arrived at the entrance to the designated parking garage, I called her and she met us there to arrange leaving the car for 3 days.  As others have mentioned, she does not speak much English, but I am OK with Italian and she spoke to me very slowly and clearly so we had no trouble communicating.  Each morning we ate outside on her terrace -- you are the only guests there because there is just the one room, so it's your own romantic little hideaway for breakfast!  Delicious preserves made by Stefania to go on the local bread specialties, other pastry sweets that were irresistible, also yogurt, fruit cup, etc.  The room is very quiet and adequately large, bed okay -- bathroom is well designed, modern and attractive but, as in most cities, tight on space. There is an elevator in the building, but be ready for lots of climbing everywhere you walk in Genoa -- it is a city of very steep streets, somewhat like San Francisco.  We highly recommend staying with Stefania and exploring this interesting city.
