Top location! Behind the Eastern Market. Very nice building. Lovely home and perfect room, very clean with super TV connected. Parking is right in front and very convenient. We really liked the city with the Via Garibaldi which is about ten minutes from the hotel.

Excellent value for money

The hotel is well located, our room was very clean and cleaned every day, with a beautiful view of the avenue XX Septembre and very well soundproofed (four-glazed).

Soana City Rooms has the central location/via ××,Genoa/, very clean, it is located on the third floor of a building on Venti Street. Gentle owner and available for any information of the city. There was nothing missing in the room, not even candy to welcome guests, or to sleep well. No doubt I slept very well even without candy, because the bed was very comfortable and there was silence in the room that seemed to me not to be in the center of Genoa. Nearby there is a conventional parking lot and around bars, restaurants and shops. And a perfect hotel for business trips. I recommend. I will return safely.

The location is certainly strategic for those travelling by public transport and arriving by train. The rooms on September 20th Street are very noisy and even though the windows are good glass, I wouldn't recommend it for those who sleep lightly.

Strategic position

Our flight got cancelled and we called up the Genova Liberty Hotel where we'd been staying.  Unfortunately they were out of rooms but offered to ask Soana.  There words were "it's not quite so nice but it's clean".  To be fair to Soana, the rooms are a bit old, the furniture is a bit on the older side but it was clean, decent en suite, comfy bed, air con and the people were extremely kind.  

It's so grim when your flight gets cancelled but we were greeted, shown the room, the owner printed out our new boarding passes for us as well and even though it would have been really easy for them to have bumped up the price because we were stuck and had nowhere to go, it was really reasonable.  

If you're travelling on a budget, you could certainly do far worse and you couldn't fault the hospitality.

Not palatial but so friendly

Soana surprised me positively and appreciates the simplicity. Great location, attentive care [only one person], large room in a building with historic airs. Peculiarity: the hotel street door is locked at night, but you get the street key, since at this time there is no reception. The secular elevator is a charm in part. In time, it does not offer coffee, but there are several options around. I recommend the experience.

Great location

The accommodation is located in an excellent location: 8 minutes from Genoa Brignole station and in the middle of one of the main avenues of the city. Everything is close by from here. The clean and air-conditioned room that works well even if it is antediluvian, so it is true that some extra plugs in the room would have been fine, but otherwise, it treats very well the staff and helps with everything we needed.

A good idea.

This hotel is was a no-frills experience. It has all the basics you need and is in a good location to the train station and sights. Sergio was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The only thing I would say is that the bed was a bit too hard for my taste. If you are not used to city noise this is not a place for you as you can hear traffic passing. I recommend this place for a one night stay or to use as a base to see the sights around Genoa. 

Great budget hotel 

Every city that I carry in my heart for me has a hotel, a room that makes you feel at home. I love to come back to the places I like the most, Genoa is one of those places. I rarely find rooms like this where everything is perfect, the excellent cleanliness that stands out from the floors to the bathrooms to the bedspreads, nothing is overlooked. Towels that know how to clean. Then what about the hospitality! Gentle and caring staff. The building is beautiful, central, there is a conventional parking lot and around it, bar, restaurant and tractor shops of every kind and for every pocket. I even bought a plant to bring home. I'll definitely go back.

I found my home in Genoa

It was a pleasant surprise, booked at the last minute, I stayed 2 nights in room 14 for work reasons. The cleaning is impeccable both in the room and in the bathroom. The towel change is daily and nothing is missing. The room overlooking the street XX September is perfectly soundproofed with double window and double glass. The owner is very kind and very available.
