We stayed for two nights while we explored Genoa.  Valentina now runs Il Salotto di Lucilla and we couldnt praise her enough as a host. Great communication, helpful in so many ways (meeting us  to guide us to the front door, advice about where to go, recommendation (and booking the table which was essential) for the best pizza which is two minutes away, booking us a taxi for a very early departure).  We had a room with a double and single bed which was comfortable and had a very nice bathroom.  There is a lovely common area to sit and to make tea and coffee.
The centre of Genoa is a short walk away so it is a perfect base for this fascinating city (be aware Genoa has lots of steps and Il Salotto di Lucilla is at the top of a long flight but is also reached by a residents lift from street level).

Excellent B&B to explore Genoa from

We stayed here for 4 nights. The room was absolutely gorgeous, full of Italian style. Cinzia and her husband are charming, very helpful and welcoming.They serve a delicious Italian style breakfast, delicious croissants, great cappuccinos. Its only 10 minutes walk from Genoa which is a beautiful city. I would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful B and B

A bit rough climbing the stairs to reach the B&B but worth the effort.  The rooms are very clean and spacious.  The B&B is centrally located and an easy walk to many of the attractions in Genoa.  For the money its a good value.  

Centrally located and clean

Although it is a bit rough to carry your luggage up the many steps, to reach this appartment, it is really worth it. Elegantly furnished rooms, very spacious and bright. The sitting area is also very stylish and getting breakfast there is really feels like being home. The center of Genova is a five-minutes walking distance, so location is excellent. The owner is very helpful and her restaurand suggestion proved very interesting ( "Eatalia", at the center of the Ancient Port ). The only negative thing concerning our stay at this beautiful B & B, was the very disturbing sound coming from the bathroom when there was a demand for water. We had a great time at "Il Salotto di Lucilla" and we strongly recomend it.

Stylish B & B in the heart of Genoa

This B&B had a charming atmosphere and Cinzia the host was also extremely welcoming. Breakfast was always beautifully presented although consisted of a daily fare of bread, a small selection of cakes and yogurt. Our room was large and bright however we felt the shower was a little cramped. Overall a nice stay.
