The hotel was OK place to stay for budget travellers who won't be spending much time in the room. This was OK as a 2 star place. The rooms were small and ancient but they had everything we needed. The free parking place in the hotel in yard was excellent . The breakfast was surprisingly good for a budget hotel. The location was excellent for us, beach, Lidl and restaurants in the walking distance. None of the staff speaks English so if you have any questions or problems they are not able to help you. The rooms are in the 2nd floor and no elevator and very narrow stairs so they won't work with a big checked luggage.

Totally OK budget place to stay 

The outside of the building looked promising for our fatigued bodies. We were happy that we could use the parking facilities just in front. 
There is no elevator and the narrow stairs gave me the feeling they could fall over any moment now. 
The room was very small for three adults (but luckily three separate beds) and it was situated just above a barterrace from the neighbours. People talking and laughing is no problem but it makes sleeping a lot more difficult.
We were looking for a handsome Italian lady throughout the room but didn't find one. Obviously there must have been one seen the many long black hairs in the backroom....just kidding 'bout our search but just to mention that bathroom wasn't clean at all.
Breakfast was poor and so was the variety of choice.
The person was friendly but very curious. During our breakfast, he sat in a chair just besides us and continued to observate us. Guess we're weird one way or another....

Roadtrip with friends

Parking, breakfast, internet, clean towels and bed sheets everyday, close to bocadasse beach and focaccerias. You Can Come back to the hotel late at night After a night out in genova. If u have any concern, they ll fix the problem very quickly.

Nice service and everythg u need

This is an old building, where the rooms at the ground level are the best, with high ceiling and giving you the sensation of more space; it is also good that you don't need to carry your luggage on the stairs, as you will have to do for the rest of the rooms at higher floors. No elevator.The room was clean but not spotless. 
The air conditioning is not working - it is more a ventilator than a cooling system; it is set-up from the reception desk and it is clear they are trying to save the money and just make the fan working but not cooling. The breakfast is very poor (one small glass of juice from a tetra-pack, one croissant, a coffee..) and the breakfast room  cramped and very modest, and so is the entire location. Do not expect any thrills, or real Italian touch. It is just an average place, where you can sleep one night or two, but for a longer stay, this is not the place. If you search for a more elegant place, this is not the place.  For our short (budget) stay, it was ok. All in all, a convenient place to sleep, but NOT more than that.  

The location is good, not very far from the Piazza Nettuno with all the little streets. 

Boccadasse is a very nice place, small but beautiful and it is really worth to pay a visit.

Sadly, although Italy excells with its restaurants, hotels are not a strong point. This one in Genova might seem convenient but is just so depressing. The service is mostly non-existent, when it appears it doesn't know what is going on, cannot advise, cannot help. Parking is extremely difficult. The rooms are very small and very cramped. Nobody seems to care. The coffee, if one tries it in the morning, is quite awful. A totally depressing experience all round!

Good place to end it all

We arrived very late one night after losing our way to Genoa. The staff were very helpful and did not complain about our very late arrival. The room was fine, but a little dated, and the breakfast was adequate. There is on-site parking available, thankfully, because the on-street parking was full. Quite a good location if you want to explore Genoa. Staff helped with baggage up the stairs, which was really welcome.
