Great apartment, nicely appointed. Beautiful views, convenient location. I did not feel as at ease here as I have in other B and B's. Felt uncomfortable sitting on the furniture in the living area, like I was intruding. Was turned off by the sign posted in the bedroom. "There will be an extra charge if you request a second cappacino at breakfast. Really? Very tacky.

Nice Location

We stayed for 2 nights in September and loved it. Etta and Mickey are wonderful hosts. Our room was big and lovely with separate, private bathroom. Everything was provided for without having to ask and it was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was great, on our own the first morning and shared the table the second morning.  Both days we ordered and paid for coffees in our room - gorgeous! 

The view from the breakfast room is amazing, we liked the location and found some wonderful places to explore nearby. The restaurants in the older part of town were good and we ate well. The shortcut down to town is great!

Wonderful

Really enjoyed my stay here, host was brilliant, breakfast was tasty and huge. Location was perfect, not only for the view from the main balcony, but also for exploring the old city of Genoa after filling up on the ample breakfast ( I think I walked every road in the old town at least 3 times, returning to the B+B in between, it is a really interesting city with a great atmosphere and excellent food and drink. ) . It is also a very short walk to the train station for exploring the rest of the Italian Riviera, ( I visited Portafino, it was amazing and easy to get to by train from the B&B Miramare da Camilla, there are many other towns I would like to visit next time!) I recommend staying here, especially if like me you are travelling alone.

Perfect place to stay while exploring Genoa and the Italian Riviera!

An usual but delightful B & B which is a large apartment in a distinguished apartment building.   Etta is delightful and very helpful.  She sent us to an excellent authentic Italian restaurant where everyone but us was speaking Italian.  Camilla, her dog, is also very pleasant.   There is a beautiful view of the water from her terrace.  If you are coming or going via the main train station in Genoa, this is an incredibly convenient.

Very Nice Place

I recently stayed one night with Etta in her beautiful apartment (which also have the most amazing view over the port of Genoa).   The building the apartment is based in itself is quite an amazing building and is very close to the Genoa Piazza Principe station (10/15 minutes walk) which is handy for onward travel, do be aware if you are carrying a lot of luggage from the station as the walk is uphill.

Etta is incredibly caring, kind and incredibly accommodating, allowing me to leave my luggage at the apartment till very late in the day of my check-out and providing me with my own key to come and go as a please all at no extra charge.

Breakfast was adequate (then again I am a big eater) but considering the main town is only 15/20 minutes walk away, it's more than enough to get you started for the day.  

I stayed in the single room in Etta's apartment which had it's own bathroom.  The room itself was large and airy, the bathroom was clean and tidy.  

All in all I would recommend this to anyone.
