We only stayed one night at this beautiful B&B, unfortunately, but hope to return in future. Our host was very kind and communication with her was excellent prior to our arrival and during our stay.
The room was spacious and tastefully furnished; the bathroom well appointed. The accommodation was overall extremely comfortable and very clean. The view from the bedroom was beautiful, but the one from the breakfast room offered an incredible view of the sea on one side and the snow capped mountains on the opposite direction.
Breakfast was delicious, including home made cakes, fresh fruit, a variety of drinks, cereals, etc.
The building is airy and pleasant, and surrounded by lovely gardens. There are seating areas outside as well.
Due to the location, this B&B is suitable to those with own transport and it can be a perfect base to explore this beautiful region. Highly recommended.

Exceeded expectations

We enjoyed a week at L’orso e l’ape while touring Abruzzo, It was conveniently located to most of the region we wanted to discover with easy access to the motorways. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet, updated furnishings with an excellent tempur pedic type of mattress. Cinzia, the host was extremely accommodating in every aspect from touring suggestions, sampling of their own wine, and wonderful breakfasts. Would highly recommend.

A week in Abruzzo at L’orso e l’ape

L’Orso is in a lovely setting amidst vineyards with views of the sea and surrounding hillsides.  Each room is decorated in a different theme. We had the Lilla, which was done in soft violets, whites, and pale yellow-green trim.  Everything was pristine and beautifully kept, and there are two adorable kittens.  Cinzia was very kind.

We stayed there for one night with 4 in 2 rooms. The b&b is very very nice, very clean and comfortable. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and competent. They also produce their own wine - try please if u have the chance to go there - we loved the wine. The view is stunning and the breakfast is of highest quality and taste.

E' stata una bellissima esperienza alloggiare presso l'Orso e l'Ape.
La padrona di casa é stata gentilissima, estremamente accogliente, disponibile e simpaticissima. 
Il posto é molto bello e le stanze sono ampie, luminose, calde, arredate con gusto e con ogni comfort.
La colazione é buonissima, con prodotti locali e genuini, e abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di scoprire qualcosa di più sulla produzione dell'olio d'oliva e del vino.
Vorremmo tornare presto :-)

It was a pleasure to stay at "L'orso e l'ape".
We arrived on saturday and had an excellent communication with the host on the phone that helped us to find the place and answered to all our questions. 
A warm welcome and a lovely conversation helped us to feel at home in a wonderful location. 
And to appreciate better the great tasty products that she offered us for breakfast.
Everything was more than the expectations.

Great weekend, amazing place, delicious breakfast, wonderful host!

We stayed one night in this newly built home, very spacious, beautifully decorated and surrounded by lovely countryside. Our hostess was very accommodating and efficient.   Room was quite comfortable but in the evening there was a rather loud group up the stairs from our room. The breakfast was excellent. Suggest asking the hostess in advance for best directions from the Autostrada--our GPS took us the long way around to get there.

Beautiful home, in the countryside

What a beautiful place, created by a fabulous hostess (the bee) and her behind-the-scenes husband (the bear). Homemade breakfast of torts and good things overlooking the patchwork of rolling farms and fields; clean, relaxing rooms in this grand, modern home of recent construction. Cinthia makes excellent restaurant reccos, and then you're just left to enjoy. Definitely rent a car, it's a fun little drive into town or out to the nearby mountains, a beautiful sanctuary, national birch forest, and ancient Roman town. The B&B itself is calm and relaxing, easing through the day to the lazy buzz of bees and cicadas.
