My wife and I enjoyed a lovely 2 week stay last month as we do every January.
From check in to check out everything was perfect. We were allocated a disability friendly room in order to help with my mobility issues. The room was scrupulously clean,spacious and tastefully decorated and furnished. Although we ate in the hotel restaurant there were adeqate facilities to prepare food in the room. Food at the hotel was first rate and all staff members were very helpful and efficient,I must give a special mention to the incredible Fabio at the lounge bar,quite simply the best bartender I have ever come accross! The pool area is immaculate with plenty of loungers always available.

Brilliant as usual.

We stayed at Marina Suites just for 2 nights in October, 2016. Our suite was really nice and clean as well it had quite large floorspace. The view from the balcony was really nice and calming and it was a special experience when we heard the voice of the birds from the close Isonzo Nature Reserve in the mornings. 
The apartment had a small, but well-equipped kitchen and a wardrobe too. 
The staff was very kind, helpful and fluent in English. 
The only difficulty was to find the place when we arrived. I think a larger information table by the road and on the building should help the guests to find the reception and the entrance of the accommodanion. It is not clear where these places are located. 
The breakfast in the bar is simple and offering just croissant, hard-boiled eggs, apple, yoghurt, butter, jam, some cold cuts and coffee, but it is more than enought if you just want to grab some food until lunch. 
Marina Suites is far from the old town, so a car or a bicycle is recommended if you would like to visit the downtown.
We really enjoyed our stay here, so we warmly reccommend this accommodation.

Cozy suites and great price/value

NIce little hotel settled inside a Camping. Breakfast is served in the Marina's café and it is good. The Mini Suites are big with a charming view of the Marina and the kitchen is a plus. Unfortunately the bathroom needs an urgent restyling. Receptionnists, waiters in the cafeteria and cleaning ladies are very nice and very polite. Please note that the Marina Suites is 10 minutes (walking distance) far from the swimming pool and the beach, but you can go by car too in 2 minutes.The parkings are free for guests. The bar and restaurants on the beach are great but the swimming pool is a little bit dated (old floor). The beach cottages are very nice too but you don't see the sea, just the dunes cover by plants. The animation for kids and teen ager is good. The market place in the camping is very useful. The quality of the sea unfortunately is not clear since this is "laguna" like in Venice, but if you rent a boat (quite expensive) you can reach beautiful places. Grado is a charming town to visit  (and for shopping too) and it is just few Km away form the camping. 

Great view but...

I am sure this is where we stayed (at the Residence in the Marina). Functional and clean. Reasonably well positioned for the centre of Portoroz. Disappointed there was no Wi-Fi in the room but overall a reasonable place to stay.

2 Night stay

This information is for room 10 and some of the information might not be applicable for the other rooms.

In the first day we had a problem with the AC it was repaired next day.

During our stay we had no International TV channels, I was reporting this problem to the reception in 2 different days and was promised that one of the technical staff will take care of this matter, we left the room after 4 night stay and nothing happen.
For sure there are many visitors in this place who do not speak Italian and Hotel owners should at least offer TV channels in different languages, this service do not coast anything because they have already have the satellite service and the maintenance stuff should program the TV accordingly.

The breakfast offered was not suitable to the prise, which is paid to the room; the cold eggs were remaining for few days in the same place.
The vegetable which was offered to accompany the chees and ham were a bit old or not fresh.
One serving cutlery or Serving Tongs for booth cheese and Ham is something not acceptable for those who do not eat meet, and do not wish to have the fat of the meet at their cheese or salad.    

The room was having a dangerous middle part, which was having (yellow black) sticker visible in the daytime but in the night was impossible to see. This room should be rented onley for short people (not taller than 175 cm) who can move easily under this wood construction whiteout problem, or at least this construction should be illuminated in the night.
My wife is tall and was hitting her head in the night while going to the toilet that was a bad experience and was hurting for the second days.

The side view from this room was looking to the boots garags and the noise level was accordingly.

What disturb us much is that the employee in the reception did not react to our complaint and were tacking our request in careless way.
