This restaurant is right on the water and the sunsets are just stunning. 
All the food was excellent - the granseola (crab) and grilled octopus were stunning. 
Wonderful service. 
Not to be missed on your last night in Grado!

To die for - the food and the view

This review is for restaurant only, not for the hotel. Pretensions, good looking but not tasty food. Unprofessional and unfriendly stuff. No manners, no smiles, not taking care at all. Will not recommend and will not visit again. 

Not very good experience in the restaurant 

A secret treasure—reserve early because they only have 25 rooms .. fantastic hotel on the water with a wonderfully welcoming staff....best food in Grado!!! I already made my reservation for 2020! RELAXING! Happy people who own it and the staff is so kind to people and when you can't speak Italian they help you! :)!

Fantastic Hotel

We stayed here for 3 nights in 2 rooms as a family of 4 this month.
This stunning boutique hotel sits right on the waterfront in Grado.
We had two ocean view rooms. This is a must if staying at this property.
Waking up to the sound of the ocean was very relaxing. 
The rooms are clean and funky. Such a cute boutique hotel.
The breakfast buffet is exquisite. Absolutely delicious.
We also dined there for dinner for my husband's birthday. The food was delicious & the staff went out of their way to make my husband's birthday extra special.
I can't wait to come back to stay here in the future.
Thank you so much, we shall return.

Sensational Ocean View Rooms

spectacular views from the room, very friendly staff, good breakfast, child friendly.
can be a bit noisy at night cause the walls are thin and the beach promenade is directly in front of the hotel. parking is 10€ a day and staff is very attentive.

Nice family hotel by the sea

Had a special dinner with a friend in Villa Marin, organised for Collio's wine tasting: fresh great fish, delicious menu, perfectly matched with the great wine of the region. 
The place is so cosy, just in front of the sea, separated from the seaside promenade by a natural hedge, perfect for your privacy (I advice you to have the dinner outside on the terrace....enjoy the sunset!). 
The place is led by two young and gentle guys, so you can have a very relaxing chat and some funny moments, too.

Delicious dinner in young charming atmosphere

i've known villa marin since the early nineties and ALWAYS LOVED staying there! imagine stepping onto your balcony and there is nothing between the hotel and the sea but a raised promenade! there are no noisy scooters going past at night and no cars tooting their horn... instead, falling asleep to the sound of the wash of soft ocean waves against the rocks piled up below the promenade... this is pretty close to heaven! sometimes a handful of singing teenagers with a few drinks too much might zig-zag their way home via the promenade, but that is part of being in italy. when you wake up - and after having a look over the calm blue ocean as far as the eye can see, a lovely breakfast buffet awaits you in or outside the dining room downstairs, again overlooking the ocean. not only is the view sooo relaxing, the buffet is crowned by an amazing selection of jams - one nicer than the other! villa marin is a small hotel, family-owned, and that is noticeable in every little detail; especially though in the warm and friendly atmosphere and in being treated like a friend.

What an absolute gem of a place. We were welcomed like family into this oasis, personally shown to our room and opened the shutters onto the most fabulous vista - a shimmering Adriatic sea. The room was ultra clean, and although simply furnished, was completely perfect for our stay - because all you will want to do is sit on your terrace and gaze at the view! Dinner was taken on the restaurant terrace, and was a delight. The food and wine are all chosen for their quality and provenance. Breakfast was equally excellent, great choice and homemade pastries, fresh from the oven, being offered at your table. The position of the hotel is wonderful, but it is the staff that really make this fabulous hotel so special, front of house mix professionalism with uber friendliness -effortlessly. Our stay here was memorable, and certainly an experience we would want to repeat.
