The position is fantastic for skiers and mountain lovers. The owners are super kind and make this place unique, which is a problem because ... you will not want to leave! Guests can feel immediately that this is not just another hotel, but a family jewel. Attention to detail is incredible, and it will immediately feel like home. Very good rooms, great view, awesome food and drinks, and very friendly.

Magical place on the mountain

This is one of my favourite places on Planet Earth and I try to spend a week there every year. The family owned and run hotel is high up in the mountains and you ski in and ski out which is wonderful. All the rooms are en-suite and very comfortable, and then the cook is a magician who serves up delicious meals. The skiing is also fantastic but best enjoyed if you are not a complete beginner as it is on a red slope.

Ski paradise!

It is a magical place situated on the mountain. Very good rooms, food and friendly. You are first at the slopes and when you come back in the afternoon you can enjoy the sun and the alpes as it belonged to you alone.

Perfect situated at 2500 meter

The typical mountain house which offers hotel services is directly next to the slope from Salati to Gabiet with a stunning view from the terrace where the sun warms you up after the skiing. There is a simple menu with a nice choice to order at the bar and the food is brought to the table. The Gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese sauce and the polenta choncha are always worth the ride. While waiting for the food you can even play a round of table football with the kids. The staff is very friendly and the coffee as it has to be. 

A perfect lunch break!

We have been coming here for a few years now and have NEVER been disappointed.
The value for money is excellent, the hospitality amazing and the position the best in the world... If you want a family holiday ... Staying up the mountain... With access to the slopes before the crowds arrive.... Albergo del Ponte is the best!

The best kept skiing secret in Italy

Albergo is a smal rustic family hotel situated on the slope by Gressoneyś  middlle station  at  2350 meters. You see 12 peaks over 4000 meters from your window.  After ski feels like you are on heavens roof. The nearest lift goes to passo Salate at 3000 from there you reach Monte Rosas Freeride at Punta Indren at 3.350 or you can go down to Alagna in the next valley.  Just great skiing. And if you just want to relax and have peace and quiet the hotel is perfect because when the lifts close you ain´t going nowhere,. Half board is therefore needed. The food is OK but not great. But on the other hand itś very inexpensive. A liter totaly ok  of wine du table is 9 Euros. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the famliy who runs the hotel are very nice and friendly. 

Great View and relax on Heavens  roof

We (a group of 12 skiiers - grown up teen and adults) just coming home from one weeks stay at Albergo del Ponte. Very very good value for money. Fantastic hospitality, and a really nice position at the mountains. Very nice rooms, cheep wine and okay food. We had a perfect holiday, and can give the hotel the best recommendation.
