Great place on the panoramic route round both  Islands  , almost aerial ! 3 km above Maddalena ,( directions  turn right from the ferry to last main large  roundabout  in town turn  left and  take the Bia Trinita route from the town  centre , turn. right past the hospital and continue past the cemetery , turn right at the  main cross roads , and second right on tarmac road opposite , circular road mirror ,the Villa  is the second last on the road on the left side )  Here  you can experience the real treat of the island views and sun sunset on lovely terrance and enclosed protected  and secure garden. Great also for  E bikes  Lovely room with excellent shower, individually prepared breakfast , fresh orange juice . Very friendly and helpful . Depending on the time of the year you can use the kitchen facilities which are considerable and the supermarket is not that far on the main route to town  ,they will kindly also help obtain food and wine  items . It is a great location also to enjoy the restaurants of Maddalena but away from the tourists . It is best for single /  couples with a car or E  bikes . The people are incredibly friendly and helpful !

Best view of both  the Islands of Maddalena and Caprera

Such a wonderful place. A little spot surrounded by the sea, astonishing view on the Mediterrenean sea. The villa is very smart, one of the most beautiful in all the island La Maddalena. As regards to the staff, they are very nice and make you feel at home.

We stayed here in Jan 2016 and were the only guests.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty with hugs and kisses from our host in true Italian style. We were made to feel so welcome and offered free use of the kitchen facilities with snacks and drinks.

The room itself was very artistic and comfortable with incredible views of la maddalena. 

Breakfast in the morning was great. The hosts chatted to us and the husband told us about his football career in Serie A with Cagliari.

I hope that one day we will return.

Amazing B&B

Our room was like walking into a beautiful painting. 
If your staying in La Maddalena Villa Sprafundu is a absolute must. The breathtaking views alone make you never want to leave . Gaetana is the owner she is the most lovely person I came across in Italy . She cares for all her visitors in such a genuine manner making sure every possible need is met while also serving you a delicious breakfast and cafe. The rooms are immaculate. 

Do yourself a favor and book a night here at least just one to experience the beauty of La Maddalena 

Do not miss out on this place

We struggled to find something in La Maddalena, initially. It was meant to be a romanitc weekend but we also wanted to drive around, get to know the other islands. 
First of all, Gaetana is an amazing host. She came to pick us up at the port, as we were getting there from Palau with a ferry. We had a car but still, the place is not easy to find the first time. 
We got the room with the sea view. Very clean, very spacious, all commodities, including A/C and a great view on Caprera. The B&B also has a terrace where you can enjoy the sunrise int he morning and a nice view in the evening. You can hang your swimsuit and towels to dry in the garden in front and Gaetana leaves some space in the fridge for you to store your water, beers, wine, whatever you want. 
breakfast is Italian, so don't expect anything fancy. Coffee is amazing though! :-) 
Gaetana can also help you arrange tours, she knows everybody. 
Wi-fi is excellent, not something to underestimate in Sardinina where it is crap most of the times. 
I really recommend this place, we had a blast. Only recommendation: you have to have a car/motorbike to move around, You can rent scooters at the port, though.
