What's not to like!  Location is phenomenal, rooms were spotless, prices were super reasonable & Michaela was fantastic!    If you want to be close to the port, parks and main shopping streets then this is the place you want to be.  The rooms are on the 2nd floor so you have to access the bldg w/a code, then take a small elevator or just use the stairs to the hotel - the main door is to the left when you come out of the elevator.  You access the main hotel door w/a code they provide the day of your arrival & then our room keys were left in envelop at the main desk.  If you need recommendations for anything Michaela is who to ask.  We had one of the best meals of our trip at AMO - she recommended it and a wonderful place to have breakfast - both within 10 mins of the hotel.   

What's not to like!

Rooms with tall ceilings makes it feel bigger. Enjoyed our stay. My only complaints were the pillows were very flat. Called and they brought us more the second night. The bathroom door is glass so be prepared if you want privacy in the bathroom it is frosted glass, but mostly see through. The other thing is it was hard to find if you are not familiar with italian building layout. Push the botton to be let into the building then go to "piano 1" which is second floor and then ring to be let in. Very small elevator which is typical of Europe. Parking not available on site.

Amazing. Thank you Cristina for your invaluable advice whilst we were travelling. So thorough and certainly made our trip easier to plan. Attention to detail was second to none from booking to the day before asking what our arrival time would be. Detailed instructions on how to get to the accommodation. 
Room was absolutely spotless and very modern Italian. 
Easy to locate, minutes from the bridge, cafes and restaurants. Look out for the arches in the piazza. 
Train only 20 minutes walk away. 
We travelled to Cinque Terre. Very easy, we managed in half a day and also squeezed a visit in to Portovenere thanks to Cristina’s excellent knowledge of the area. Grazie Mille

2.5 day trip to La Spezia

This hotel provides guests with a welcoming email with detailed check-in instructions, directions, recommendations, and helpful local information.  The check-in experience was easy, and the staff are genuinely caring, hospitable, and very attentive to the comfort and experience of the guests.  The hotel is an easy 10-15 minute walk from the train station, and you just go straight down the main pedestrian street towards the waterfront -- it is steps from the harbor.  
The room was clean, bright and modern with high ceilings.  The room was quiet and featured blackout curtains with a comfortable bed.  The room has a mini fridge, complimentary espresso pods, luggage racks and wardrobe, a big shower with shampoo, soap, and shower gel, one free waterbottle, and they also offer complimentary chocolates and biscotti in the lobby.  We appreciated these extra touches and this hotel was the closest to what we are accustomed to in a North American hotel experience.  We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in La Spezia and visit Cinque Terre.  After a long day of hiking and exploring, this is the room you want to return to for a restful and relaxing night.

Focused on positive guest experience

We stayed here on our recent visit to Cinque Terre and would highly recommend. The service we received from Christina was without a doubt, the best we received our entire trip. She went above and beyond what is expected, giving us very helpful tips which made our time in Cinque Terre even more special. Thank you so much Christina! The rooms are on one floor of a quiet, character-laden building near the port and within walking distance to the train station.

Beautiful rooms and fabulous service.

We stayed one night with our daughter, rooms were very nice, luxury design and comfortable. Christina was super friendly and helpful, it really makes a difference in the total experience! 
2 things to watch out; 1) this is not a traditional hotel, more like boutique rooms on an apartment floor. So if you want a traditional hotel this is not it. 2) it is very difficult to find a parking place around if you are with a car. We did not mind for one night, but this is not ideal.

Great rooms and friendly staff

Lovely, very stylish modern rooms in a quiet building downtown La Spezia. Nearby parking , close to Ferries to Cinque Terre, shopping, Farmers fresh market & parks. Breakfast provided in a small bar next to hotel. Will use this small hotel again!

Lovely Rooms

Recently based ourselves here for our trip to the Cinque Terre, rooms were in great condition and very modern. 
The service we received from Christina was the best service we have had in our whole 3 months in Europe.
Would definitely stay here again and couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking to stay here.

Best service we have had in Europe 

Very friendly staff, quiet and well designed rooms. 
Located a bit far (15 min walk) from La Spezia central station, relatively to other hotels, but this makes this place quiet and special. 
At first, it was a bit scary to understand that the hotel is part of an apartments building, and you can easily miss it, and the second con is that sometimes you don’t get warm water in shower, which can be kind of upsetting.
