B&B Casa Celsi

It's taken me a long time to write this, and it's sad to see there are not many reviews on here. La Spezia was the final stop on our honeymoon tour of Italy. We had stayed in some perfect places and this one was top of the list. Guiseppina was the most perfect host, so much so that the wife and I had come to think of her as our Italian Mama. She was so welcoming and so helpful in guiding us around the area of La Spezia and Cinque Terre. The room was perfect, well maintained, beautifully decorated with a cute little balcony that gave us spectacular views one way, and the train station the other. Breakfast was nice, she served us and made fresh focaccia bread. The location of the hotel was very good, only a few minutes’ walk to the train station. Even with the trains close by, there was little noise coming from the outside world. Beware though of the traditional chair in the bathroom. Safe to say neither myself or the wife sat on it, and 9 months later still no baby! We need to wait a little longer haha. Wonderful gem, in a beautiful part of Italy.
