The apartments are located in the middle of the after hour celebrations area for youngsters and most of them are at ground level, therefore noise at night is present until 3 at night expecially in the weekends. The apartment that I booked smelled heavily from humidity at arrival and only after several hours of air conditioning, the smell reduced at reasonable level. For the price that you are charged is a good compromise as the apartment is indipendent and there is a reasonable space to survive. Unfortunately, the layout of the apartment was extremely disappointing both for the tiny shower area (50 cm per side), the tiny window in the toilet (humidity will never dry out) and the bed that was at the end of metal stairs not particularly safe. The support from the property is minimal as during my stay it was very difficult to have a change of the shower towels and an help during the unpleasant situation in which heavy refurbishment noises in the apartment above my head started at 7:30 on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Zero relax

It was a terrible experience. A lot of humidity, mold smelling rooms and low level of breakfast. Water cold and hot intermittently. Definitely lower with respect the site description. Also the expression "dimora barocca" (baroque mansion) is misleading: in fact we are just faced with some basements in an old house, restructured the least worst. More, it was impossible to sleep, 'cause the continuous boom boom from the near disco. Also people chattering all night long! Dear foreign people, please don't get confused: this is not Italy, this is not our welcome!

What a hovel

Not how it appears in the photos-it's rather shabby. The ground and basement rooms I was shown all smelled damp. I didn't get the facilities promised online so we had to shift appartment. Our kitchen was very sparsely equipped-one spoon and two forks for a supposed three person apartment? Not even a match to light the stove when we arrived late at night cold and tired. I don't understand a B&B owner who seems to take no interest in being hospitable to his paying guests. No-one seems to take reponsibility for the quality of your experience here. This negative aspect is mentioned in other reviews on here.  While true the '00' bar staff are friendly and their breakfast very nice-you can eat there anytime without having to stay at this place.

Nicest accommodation we had in 4 months in Europe (though probably a little more expensive than most we stayed in to be fair). It was SO nice to have our own little apartment, with a full kitchen so we could cook our own risotto and putanesca. Host was friendly and helpful (though we had to communicate in french, and my french is pretty rubbish (my italian is non-existent)). Fresh pastries for breakfast, juice and milk in the fridge. And Lecce is a great town.

Fabulous

What a great place to stay.. a little difficult to find at first but the god send of a sat nav managed to get us there eventually!. Parking is a little bit difficult but if you are used to driving in Italy then it should not be so difficult. The property is smack bang in the middle of the tourist sites and the nightlife. However it is perfectly positioned that you cannot hear anything at night! even if there is a lovely wine bar smack outside of the B&B!. The rooms were adequate and perfect for self 'ish' catering (we stopped in the apartment for 3 adults). Breakfast was pastries however if these arent enough its a 2 min walk to the local bakers. Lecce is a beautiful old city which does not have the hustle and bustle of Naples but the welcoming feel of a student city which comes alive at nighttime.
