We came for dinner here while staying in Malfa. We had the full meal of antipasti, primo plati and secundo plati. Well worth the trip. Exceptional food and great view from terrace overlooking the bay, and charming service. 

Fantastic food!

Very nice place with very clean and spacious rooms, very helpful and hospitable owner. Good location, close to the bus stop, and with very nice views around.  Also very close to the starting point of  hiking trail.

Very clean and spacious rooms

This is a must-go while on Salina island. We have been traveling the Aeolian islands and this was our last stop. It was the best food and service we had throughout our travels. Incredible quality of ingredients, homemade and delicious. The service was also top notch; quick and warm - you can tell they truly care and are passionate about their work. In addition, it was very fairly priced. A truly authentic and unique experience. Highly recommend their cannoli for dessert! 

A must-go: best restaurant on Salina Island

Amazing food and hospitality. We had dinnner atGaletta, good quality local food, great wine and nice & pleasent staff.  Cherry on the cake: the amazing view on the cliff. We will definitely go back!! Strongly suggested: antipasto eoliana, cozze and calamari ripieni al marsala

Dinner with friends

We have been staying in an airbnb in Leni and the restaurant of Sig. Galletta was suggested by our hosts. The place is 10-15 minutes walking distance from Leni and it has great views over the sea and, in the far distance, towards mainland Sicily. 
The food is rooted in local cuisine with only local fresh ingredients, including fish, meat, homegrown capers, olives, aubergines, tomatoes etc. During the course of two evenings we had pastas, veal, lamb, grilled swordfish, a salad with sweet onions, tomatoes and capers and their great cannolo. Prices are very good and for two people with a bit of house wine we paid around €50-55 per meal including a great home made malvasia with biscuits at the end of the meal.
I highly recommend his place for food but also for the great kindness and hospitality provided by Sig. Galletta and his staff!

Excellent food and hospitality

We called in for dinner one evening.  Delicious country cooking.  At the end we were afraid that we had not allowed enough time to take the bus back to Malfa.  The proprietor kindly offered to take us in his car to the bus stop.  This was very helpful

Nice dinner

Very peacefull place between the 2 volcanoes of Salina. The view from our little terrasse was fantastic. The room was spacious, clean with a small kitchen too, but we ate at the restaurant they have. The building is a renovated traditional house. Aldo the owner is very friendly and knows Salina very well. Just ask him for help, places to visit, history and traditions of the island. You will not be disappointed.
Speaking italian is a plus.
