This is a massive old farm building converted in part to B&B accommodation. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable.Shower rooms excellent. Breakfast is very good and massive by Italian standards - meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, breads, cake and local 'specials' changing each day. Coffee is excellent too! 
Grounds are spacious and stocked with lemon, fig and vines. Always plenty of shade. Lovely pool with loungers and chairs. Pool towels supplied. Refreshments available in a frige in the casina.
At the end of the drive there is a trattoria which might not look much but does smashing local dishes and serves local wine by the caraffe.
However, the best thing about CR is its owner, Eugenio! A lovely man who goes out of his way to help you enjoy yourself. He is friendly and attentive and a mine of information.

A real Puliga welcome and experience!

Not far from Lecce and in a quiet area. Huge house with grounds to match. There are outside seats to relax in the evenings as well as a pool with deck chairs and bath towels. Beware the mosquitoes though. 
Our rooms were on the first floor. Each room is spacious, nice and clean. There is a safe and a mini fridge with drinks. A kettle with tea and cups in the room. Also air conditioning and mosquito netting on the windows. Shared bathroom with a jacuzzi bath, good sized shower, hairdryer and bath gel and soap provided. 
Communal sitting room and a breakfast area with four tables overlooking the garden. Breakfast is a good spread with cold meats, cheese, hard boiled eggs, yoghurt with fruit compote, lovely bread, fruits, dates and cakes. 
This B and B is a family affair and the owner has an olive oil business and gave us a small bottle of his olive oil as a souvenir 
Plenty of space for car parking on the property. This place would not be suitable if you don’t have a car. 

Good location for exploring Salento

Great accommodation with  friendly owners who are very helpful. House and grounds full of character and close to Lecce and convenient for other towns in Puglia. Very clean rooms. Lovely pool in the grounds.

Room are spacious and very clean. Nice bathrooms. There is a little fridge (with beverages free for use) and a safe. Enough space in the closet with enough clothes hangers. The masseria has a lovely garden and terrace. A very clean pool with loungers. At walk distance there is a restaurant with good food for fair prices. Owners are very kind. Breakfast is limited to European standards (for Italian standard ok). We stayed for 6 days and for us the breakfast was a little bit to limited. A tip : give different kinds of meat and cheese. But when you wanted there was enough coffee to receive at breakfast.

A nice building and garden with pool not far of Lecce

Casina Romita is located in Lequile, a small village only 5 minutes drive from Lecce. It's a beautifully kept and renovated property that was built in the 1700's. We stayed in the self catering Apartment which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a loft, and a large Dining room and kitchen area. The grounds are large and beautifully kept, with a lovely swimming pool and Olive grove. Eugenio was a welcoming host, and the Apartment had everything we needed. There is great privacy at this residence. The drive to the center of Lecce takes about 5 minutes, so the property is very well situated for visitors to Lecce. Also, the historic towns of Gallipoli and Otranto are 25-30 minutes drive away. Overall I would highly recommend Casina Romita
