Very glad we chose Hotel Villa Dirce, the last building at the northern end of Limone with a pleasant walk (1.2km) into town along recent walk/cycle route (umbrellas available in return for deposit). Otherwise the hotel's scheduled shuttle service is available. Contemporary rooms looking onto the lake over traditional scene gives you the best of both new and old worlds. Breakfast choice is immense and excellent, although much the same every day. The stunning views over the lake can be fully enjoyed as breakfast runs until a relaxing 11.30am. No evening meal but small dishes and pizza can be delivered. The inside wellness area is small made up for by spacious decking outside to enjoy the sunshine - note the pool and jacuzzi are not heated. Very helpful staff and we would be happy to return.
