Large and very clean apartments with very private and large terraces.
Owner, Enrico, picked up up from the boat and helped us get oriented with food supplies etc. at the grocery store before driving us to the apartment.
We walked a few times to town but it is too much of a walk up hill for 4 kms to be ladened down with any additional groceries for the return. Rent a car or moped for some of your stay.
Would most definitely return. Good kitchen set up for those who like to cook.
Excellent value accommodations.

Million dollar view

Expect a warm welcome from the hosts who kindly picked us up and took us back to the port. The apartment was very well furnished and really comfortable. The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped with good quality utensils. The highlight of this apartment is the terrace with amazing views over Lipari. It’s a steep walk into town which takes about 25 minutes but the bus service was excellent and about 1 km walk from the apartment. 
We’re already looking forward to our return and seeing the host’s beautiful dog Simba again. 

Gorgeous apartment 

We stayed in villa hermes in july 2010  for one week and would love to go back.The apartment was really clean and had everything that you need..You would need a car if you were going to stay here,but it is only a short drive away from the town..The view from the balcony is amazing and it is so peaceful.The owners were very helpful,they sorted out car hire for us within the first hour of arriving.I would highly recommend staying here
