A  Livornese friend suggested this small hotel to me as an authentic Tuscan experience. So I booked two nights and was not disappointed. The surprise bonus was the superb cacciucco on the large terrace restaurant. There is also a ground floor dining room but eat outside with stunning sea views. Fantastic.

This is much better than a glamorous hotel experience. It is a stylish, affordable, family run hotel with only eight modest rooms in a gorgeous seaside town. Quercianella, 15k south of Livorno, population 1,000, is easy to get to from Livorno. I got the 102 bus. Thanks Georgia and your team. I loved this experience!

Authentic Tuscan experience

Excellent cacciucco food recomanded by the waiter! Very nice staff. The view from the restaurant was fantastic. You can see the sea from your table. I highlly recomand the place. Is cozy. Especially from restaurant part acros the streat.

Stopped for lunch and sat outside, overlooking the sea.

Only had one seafood pasta dish each, but they were delicious.

Friendly service, got chatting to the guy who served us about the Beatles cover band that he played in.

Great food!

We had coffee and cake in the outside restaurant overlooking the sea. The views were stunning, the service was friendly and attentive and the coffee and cake were very good too. Prices were very reasonable, but parking could be an issue. Recommended.

Coffee and cake with a stunning view

Despite having been a guest of this small hotel in Quercianella previously, this year the manager treated my friend with upmost irrelevance and impunity. He could Not find my booking but having shown the confirmation Enrico the manager proceeded to give him a room. Unlike the other years, this was a tiny single room on the ground floor by reception facing a wall sandwiched between two buildings by the side of the railway. No towels and smelling of mound we asked if he could kindly move him to another room, he said there was no other single rooms. We asked if there were doubles we would pay the difference. Something in his demeanour changed and without looking at us, he said If he didn't like the accommodation he could leave. Having just finished dinner at their restaurant and being close to 11:30pm It was unlikely we could find alternative accommodation. 
He all went to our beds thinking of what had just happened and I found out the morning after that my friend, whilst lying naked on the bed, without knocking, saw the door open. The manager used his oWn key to unlock the door and enter the room to ask for documentation which he had omitted at check in. 
Needless to say the next morning I went to check him out promptly. Booking.com was contacted and no penalty charged. We won't be back and neither should you!
