Fantastic family hotel. Very Italian great breakfast. On the main square. There is a short distance to busses and train. The busses connect to most towns so no need for a car. The local restaurants were good. Although Monday is market day some restaurants are closed Monday evening. Breakfast is served in the cafe below the hotel. Excellent food very relaxed. Great place. One just blends in and lovely to watch local life.

Solid hotel. Well priced. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Good bar. Superb pasticceria and...excellent food!
Not mentioned anywhere. Just ask and you will get a proper Italian dinner. Should be on the top 10 of Maniago!

Hidden gem

It was my first time at Maniago and of course my first time in the hotel.
Location is in the middle of the Maniago. Easy check-in and easy check-out. You can see the munincipality from the Windows. Pastry is great and to have breakfast in that pastry is awesome. Fresh bakes and cakes every morning. Staff is very friendly. Rooms are clean and big and they are all renewed. It was quiet outside to sleep. Price is very good according to the all above. And you have free parking if you have a car which is very important. May be TV on the wall should be bigger according to the room sizes. But next time i Will definitly stay again here. 

A very nice Place to stay

This place is a hotel, a coffeeshop, a pastry-shop and a restaurant!!
They offer good pastries and different types of single-origin coffees and Cappuccinos from Ethiopia or South-America with good local milk. At the restaurant you can try the famous Pitina-salame locally made from Sheep-meat. Definitely worth a visit or two!

We were very happy here for our two night stay. Rooms are furnished in a basic style and the bathrooms are small and simple (shower only - no bath) but is was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were really impressed with breakfast which was served in the cafe downstairs.  They offered a seemingly unlimited supply of sweet and savoury items from their cafe menu and it was all delicious.  Maniago is a quaint town close to the mountains with some nice bars and shops and this hotel is well situated on the main town square.

Pleasantly surprised by this small hotel

I stayed in a single room for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was spotless and spacious. There was a fridge in the room and a reasonably spacious bathroom. Lots of hangers in the wardrobe and space for my case. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were attentive and quick. I dined in the restaurant one evening and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend staying here.

Very clean and comfortable

My room was surprisingly modern and very comfortable. Being so close to the main square, I thought it would be noisy but it wasn't a problem at all. I've never met a more accommodating staff! Breakfast on demand, advice about the local area, bikes to rent and even a commute if I needed it (for guests). Not to mention their food and selection of wine and beer surpassed all expectations. Overall, a quaint little hotel and bar but I couldn't be happier for the price.

Everything you could need!

One of those hotels where you get the sense that management really care about offering a good service. 

I stayed 1 night on a European motorcycle tour.  I was welcomed by the young chef/manager who emerged to greet me as I pulled into the car park.  When I commented on the heat, I was immediately offered a bottle of water.  I was offered assistance with luggage, and he mentioned that they could set a table for dinner out in the square as that would be cooler than the indoor restaurant.  My first floor room, overlooking the square, was clean but fairly basic (no aircon, which I knew).  

Downside of no aircon was that I left the window open overnight, to be woken at about 5 am by clock chimes, roadsweeping truck, and finally at 7 am by nearby church bells. A good place to stay but not if you want a leisurely lie in on a warm summer night.

With a 3 course dinner, 2 glasses of wine and breakfast the total bill of 78.5 Euros was good value by Italian standards.  Dinner was good: lovely light herb ravioli with ginger to start, a finely sliced pork main, and the best icecream I've eaten in years (fantastic smooth texture and interesting crema all'italian flavour - strawberry, almond and pistachio).  I'd heard before that folks in Friuli take great pride in coming from that region, and I got a sense of that here - Chef stressed that the menu offered typical Friuliani dishes. 

While Italy is not one of the world's great breakfast nations, yoghurt with fresh fruit, almond croissant, a very generous glass of fresh squeezed orange juice and cappuccino hit the spot.  Chef was keen to find out if I'd enjoyed my dinner, which I had, and there was a little parting gift on checking out.

Very warm welcome, Friulani pride, good value but don't expect a lie-in

We stayed here for two nights in a triple room. It was beautifully clean and spacious with everything you could need. Breakfast was served in the cafe and we were provided with the freshest yoghurt and fruit, ham, cheese and bread and croissant filled with apricot jam. It was all lovely. the staff couldn't do enough for us. I would definitely recommend it.
