We spent seven nights in this wonderful villa overlooking the Egadi. A cozy house, with huge green spaces, very clean, with sea views and 10 minutes from the beach. A great place to visit the entire province of Trapani. We were two couples with children next to us who could run uninterrupted in the wonderful space available. A fully equipped kitchen. Bathrooms. Outdoor barbecues. A dream.

Wonderful house

My husband and I stayed in this property from 27 to 31 July 2018. To welcome the owners: Gaspare and his wife, two really exquisite people. The property is located in a strategic place that allows you to reach both Marsala and Trapani in a short time. Two steps from the salines and the islet of Mozia, it is a good starting point to visit Selinunte, Mazara del Vallo, but also Segesta and Erice. Close to the ferries to the Egadi Islands, not to be missed. The property, immersed in a beautiful garden, rich in fatty plants that Mr Gaspare takes care of personally, is very beautiful, comfortable and functional.

What a lovely place.

The owners were a very nice couple who gave us all the information and maps of the area. A welcome drink of Marsala and a sweet on arrival.

Onsite parking. Good size rooms which were very clean and organised. Access to a small fridge in the kitchen. Coffee any time.

Large balcony to relax with a wine and watch the sun go down over the ocean.

Great B&B

The house is very beautiful and cozy, the rooms are clean, the owners of the house are exquisitely kind. The location is strategic to visit western Sicily, from Marsala to Trapani, from Mazara to Erice, and then S.Vito lo Capo, Segesta, Stagnone, the salines of Mozia, and the Egadi in a step. The personalized breakfasts are a brand of the house, a pleasant viatic to appreciate the Sicilian gastronomic specialities of these areas.

It was a good choice.

Beautiful villa immersed in a garden of olive trees and colourful flowers, in the tranquility of the countryside of Marsala, but with the possibility of reaching comfortably the salt flats, the beaches, the city of Marsala and Trapani. Exquisite is the kindness and availability of the owners, who have given us a sublime cocktail, welcoming us as a family and giving us precious advice about the surroundings, often accompanied by a good glass of wine.

Feeling at home

The kindness and willingness of Gaspare and his wife made us feel at home, without anything taking away from the beautiful scenery and the strategic position to reach all the destinations we visited.

A dream vacation

We stayed together in this wonderful villa on the advice of two travelers who crossed paths during the holidays. The property is located on a hill 20 minutes by car from the center with a fantastic view of the Egadi and the lagoon islands so much so that the sunset seen from them reduces the much advertised Mammacaura local to the salons. The owners are an exquisite retired couple with not only good taste for furniture but also that sense of hospitality that will make you feel at home. We had booked for just one night but finding ourselves so good and having to continue through Favignana we decided to extend and board from Mar. The comfort of the room is absolute and the breakfast is rich with panoramic views.

B&B with TOP view

A beautiful retreat. The hosts were fantastic. We were welcomed with cool drinks and nibbles. The best wifi we had throughout our tour of Sicily. The breakfast was excellent. We stayed an extra night because of the comfort. I would definitely stay there again. This was one of our best stays. Marvelous!

Beautiful!

Marsala is a quaint little fishing town with some excellent restaurants and surprisingly good shopping. This B&B was recommended by our agents and our only disappointment was the shortness of our stay.
The location is out of town and a bit of a challenge...you must have a navigator with current maps as the area is relatively new and many roads not marked. That said the reason for the location is evident on arrival...panoramic views down t the coast and the islands offshore. Breathtaking. The house has been architecturally designed to take account of the view.
The host, Signor Gaspare was helpful and gracious. We were served coffee and biscuits on arrival and given good maps , with advice on restaurants.
Our room as spotless and intriguingly designed. Wine bottles have been tastefully incorporated into the walls and are even used as clothes hooks. This was a first for us but it worked well. Each room had a TV and functioning AC.
Breakfast was very good and served in the main room with the magnificent views.

Superlative views, comfortable rooms and gracious host

We were only able to stay one night at CasaSolare as we had an early morning flight out of Trapani.  The owner was very helpful in sending us to a local restaurant for supper.  Once the restaurant owner discovered that we were Canadian he treated us like family (He has family in Canada)  Because we had to leave very early in the morning the B&B owner left us enough for breakfast to hold us over until we reached Spain.  The B&B itself is beautiful, clean and comfortable.  It's location makes it the perfect spot to stay overnight prior to flying out of Trapani.
