We have spent 2 nights in this B&B and was quite satisfied (but please take into account there are no elevator, so you must climb) by the cleanliness, simple but comfortable furnishing, very big shared kitchen where you could find coffee wending machine for free with tasty coffee and chocolate, kettle and all other amenities that you may need if you want to make the food by yourself or just order something and eat. About 5 minutes walking from Cimiano metro station which directly connected to Central Station, Garibaldi, Cadorna and you could have changes for Duomo and other locations. Area is quiet and safe. Staff very helpful, we were given our two rooms nearby, separated by only our rooms corridor, that is quite helpful, as we could close the corridor door and walk to opposite room without disturbing much other guests. Also staff very helpful with luggages when they are there during daytime and some advices on location, destinations and etc.

Good, clean, cozy B&B near Cimiano metro station

Stayed here for one week and enjoyed everything here.  Staffs are courteous.  Room is exceptional spacious, modern and clean.  Kitchenette w functional appliances.  Moderate breakfast.  Proximity to métro, supermarkets.  Competitive pricing.  Highly recommended. 

Exceptional B&B

We spent two wonderful days in Milano and it was made even better by this great BnB.

The staff is absolutely great, very helpful, friendly and accommodating. We got some good suggestions on what to see and where to eat out, Federica taught us how to get around town and which areas to see, she was spot on with what we like and we followed all her advice.

The room is very nice, bright and comes with an on suite bathroom and shower. Beds are very comfortable and the property is in a great location, just minutes away from the next metro station. There is a well equipped kitchen on every floor, coffee around the clock for free and fruit juice and a water cooler if you get thirsty.

We had a great time here and we will be back next time we are in Milano. 

Wonderful BnB for a quick getaway 

It was my 2nd time stay at B&B Via Padova. Last time was 6 months ago in April.  I never expected that they will treat their 2nd timer guest in such way! Very bad business ethics! Not recommend at all!! 

A short while after checked in to my room I thought I better pay in advance because have to rush to airport next morning before 8.30am. After made the payment I shown Christina the photo of the bathroom radiator and asked what time would it be heated-up because I was not well and wish to have a shower earlier then go to bed. Christina written on a piece of paper as it is from 18:22 to 06:10. She said I can change the timing if I want. So I wrote 17:00-07:00 and Christina said ok, ok. 

The radiator was still cold at 17:50 then I went down to the office which will be closed very soon. After alerted Christina she answered me ok, ok, 5 minutes and walked to a wall with an action of turning some switches. I assumed that the radiator will be hot in 5 minutes time. Too bad it was not the case.

At 7pm after waked up from a nap on the chair I went down to the office but it was closed. The long stay (1 month) guest, a young Italian man of room 001 was in the kitchen. He made a call to Stefano, the boss perhaps. Not immediately but only after 1 minute of conversation Stefano told the guest that my radiator is out of order! Right after ended the conversation with Stefano the guest called to Christina. You know what? Christina told him that she set the radiator to 8pm so I have to wait! Two big liars! 2 minutes later Stefano called back and said the radiator was set to 8pm. But just few minutes ago he said the radiator is faulty!! Obviously Stefano got a call from Christina before called back to the guest. Obviously Christina is the one who turn off the radiator despite she set the timer at 18:22 or 17:00 or 20:00 whatever stories she told. My bathroom radiator remained cold for the whole night.

As my bathroom (room 015) without heating was too cold for me, an un-well person and it had drainage problem fully stuffed with hairs when I opened the cover tried to clear it. I ended up taken my shower in room 001 after got permission from the kind young man. 

What kind of service and attitude of this B&B towards their guest? They thought the guests are strangers they dislike whom met on the road?  Or after received the payment then made fun of the guest? Terrible personality without business ethics!

My sincere advices are:
(1) For non-Italian speaking guests kindly think twice as no staff around after office hours. Contact person Christina do not understand English. She uses Google Translate while in the office to communicate with guests. My room had a power failure during my first stay in April. No way to communicate with her in English through phone.  Luckily an Italian family helped me to call her and solve the problem for me. (2) Never Ever pay in advance!!
