29 reviewsMilan Fashion week is horrifically busy because it coincides with many other fairs taking place at the same time - and to top it this year there was Expo ! I was a little bit apprehensive of staying so far out of my comfort zone - Brea is normally as far out as I dare to roam. But through a friends recommendation and the pricing on everything being sky high I took the plunge ! Thank god I did it was brilliant . Family run with mama in charge it couldn't have been easier to get in to the Duomo literally a bus ride at the end of the street and really easy. Also they were so helpful - Although breakfast is a rather basic continental they do a mean coffee ! And if Aunty has baked a cake it will be shared around. The shows are scattered all over Milan but I was given easy routes to follow . The bedrooms were clean and comfortable not huge but with plenty of plugs to charge all equipment. Decent bathrooms with fresh towels every day. Only one let down is the wifi - you need to be on the first floor to get coverage . Although the breakfast room has great coverage and literally after breakfast and in the evenings it was like my own private office - recommendable most definitely.
