A lovely hostel, just 300 metres from the train station. A good breakfast, it had a separate room. The most beautiful thing is its old style, its decoration is super well cared for, and its staff is very friendly and prepared.

Ideal for walking around the city.

Great breakfast and lovely, knowledgeable staff.  Rooms are small but well appointed. 
If you arrive by car parking can be a challenge.
You are within walking distance of the Falbulous new Starbucks, a must see, and the Duomo.

Small boutique hotel.

The B&B is near the Central Station in a quiet area but over the Caiazzo metro. The house is furnished with an old-fashioned bourgeois taste, in a beautiful palace with doorways. Wi-Fi functioning. The bathroom in common with another room was a little dark, especially near the mirror that wasn't even above the sink. The single not huge thermosphere next to the head when you're in bed. The door of the room was closed with a chainsaw and a passing chain for two outdoor doors! The most painful note is the conductor.

Good position, bad driver

Pros: Great location, good for budget, breakfast
Cons: Set of rooms with shared bathrooms. Room for a single guest with shabby walls and a chain instead of a lock created a weird experience far from what is shown on photos. 
Overall, if additional charges are taken into account, this facility is in the price range of  low-scale hotels in the same area, which feature greater privacy and personal space.

We stayed overnight at the facility during the yoga festival. The location is very central, practically 2 steps from the central station (the metro station is 50 meters from the gate). The palace is beautiful veramebte and the room is spacious and cozy. Breakfast abundant. We were welcomed by Giuseppe very nice and friendly. We will definitely consider him in the future 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

The quality/price ratio, especially if we consider the central location of the structure, located a few hundred meters from the Central Station, already pushes alone to recommend the structure. The environment is familiar and the manager is an extremely kind and available person (not to be taken for granted). The single room has been clean and comfortable. The bathroom is in common but also extremely clean. Short but pleasant stay. The ideal for those who are passing through.

Availability and accessibility in a central area of Milan

Unfortunately, the night was a nightmare, we were here in mid-July with the heat that a city can have it was impossible to sleep: air conditioner access, but forced to keep the window open for discharge of the same (in these conditions the presence of the same... insignificant... with the consequent presence during the night of mosquitoes that cheered us the night... besides the bed bug!

From dream to nightmare

For me it was a real surprise to find such an excellent hospitality and high professionalism in a truly original location!! It seems to be at home, with all the comforts that only a few B&B in the world gave to me!

Simply the best

La Casa del Duca is located in a prime location near the Milano Centrale train station. The foyer of the building is striking.  However, the good ends there.  We had reserved the room with bath, and we were rather surprised that the bathroom was located outside of our room with a curtain closing off the entrance to the room and bathroom. It was an awkward arrangement to say the least. The bathroom was nicely updated, but the room was not a true representation from the photos.  Furniture was period pieces, but in a rather shabby state, cables ran along the wall and were taped on with electoral tape. I found only one power socket to charge electronics.  The weather was quite hot and there was not any air conditioning or a fan.  The breakfast consisted of prepackaged rolls with fruit, again not a true representation from the photos.  The cost for the room was too high for the value. If the photo representation was accurate and the bedroom to bathroom arrangement was ensuite, it would have been a prized place to stay.

This is not a hotel, it is a large apartment with a number of rooms for guests. It is in a beautiful building on the 4th floor and the host Guiseppe was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. If you want an authentic Italian experience you will enjoy this however if you are used to 4-5 star hotels this isn't what you are looking for. Breakfast facilities weren't great - mainly long life pastries in selofane, a toaster and you can use the hosts coffee machine. 
I wouldn't really want to knock it too much as the hosts really do go out of their way to make you feel welcome, it is clean but I wouldn't say it was luxurious. I'd give it about 6.5 out of 10.
