I had reservations at another hotel for months but made a last minute call to stay at STRAF because it was more centrally located. It was a great decision. After arriving on the redeye, I was delighted to find that they had a room available and I had been upgraded. Breakfast in their restaurant, a shower and a few minutes of rest rejuvenated us for a full day of touring. We only had 24 hours in Milan. I learned after I had booked transport that they can arrange an airport limo. I don’t know the price. The room is modern and minimalist. That’s not to say uncomfortable. We only had a deluxe double but had fluffy robes, a massage chair, nicely stocked bar and espresso machine. The hotel is just steps from the Duomo Cathedral, one of Milan’s big must sees. The Duomo neighborhood is a happening place. This is not a quiet hotel. There were bands in the Duomo square, the STRAF bar was too loud and smoky for us after touring all day. But if you want yeti be close to luxury shopping, lots of restaurants and the Duomo, you can’t beat this hotel.
