I booked since jan 2020 to visit the hotel on march 2020 .. then everything is closed from the covid .. I contacted them and they told me after 2 working weeks the money will be returned in my credit card.. till now am still contacting them to return my money without any use ! Very bad hotel i dont recommend to visit

They stole my money

I've been out of the hotel for over a month and I still haven't been paid back the deposit or the guarantee amount that was withdrawn from my credit card when I arrived at the hotel. The hotel management has been confirming for a month that they have to pay me back but they still don't do it pretending 'they match with the bank' and keep me informed.

Thieves: no refund of the deposit

Great hotel, great location, size of rooms quite big compare to others city hotel, i have stayed 4 nights with my mom. We have been served very good service and helpful from concierge, front office and Mr.Mesut Batan , Assist FO Manager and his colleagues very helpful and excellent service. That made my 1st time in Istanbul full of good memories. Defenitly will come back in the future. Thank you

Great hotel. Intend to recommend

In the middle of Nisantasi, the elegant shopping neighborhood. SInce I am not much for shopping it was not too relevant to me but I guess there are people who go for those things. And anyway a short walk brings you to Osmanbey metro station where you can reach most of Istanbul's European side; a slightly longer downhill walk and you are at Besiktas ferry station where you can cross the Bosphoros. Large, elegant room perfectly furnished, breakfast with menemem (my favorite) and extremely helpful, gentle personnel. My only complaint, loud music everywhere. When you had a meyhane night out with too much raki flowing the last thing you want in the morning is disco music thumping in your head, and the voices by other guests raised in order to make themselves heard over the din. Please pipe it down....

The rooms are old and unattended. The bathrooms are dark, old and unfriendly. While the hotel is full, the entrance of the hotel is renovated. You barely get in, everything with stinking colors and dirt. The hotel is crowded with Arabs who have no respect for other customers. It's a shame. Because the hotel is in the middle of the city and would be ideal. Everything, in all, for this price and this performance, just doesn't work.

Price performance is not correct

I would love to point out the wonderful, friendly concierge named Denis. He has been with the hotel since its beginning.

He is not only very knowledgable but also caring and friendly. He is a great asset to the hotel.

Wonderful Concierge

We stayed for 3 nights and loved the fact that SoFa hotel is centrally located in the upscale area of Nisantasi, where you can walk to many luxury shops, great restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The hotel is modern and our room was well appointed, clean and with a large bathroom. The hotel has a small gym with all the useful equipment.  Within the hotel there is a spa - Green Spa - where we booked a hybrid-type haman, which suited my needs, followed by a Thai massage.  It was all well worth it.  As a hotel guest, you can use the sauna, steam, jacuzzi and small pool. Breakfast was included and had a very good spread.  It was served at Frankies, their evening restaurant located on their rooftop.  Sitting outside was nice with views of Istanbul and Bosphorus, only downside for me is that smoking is allowed on the terrace.  Not of fan of eating around smoke. The hotel staff was very helpful and most spoke English.  Mesut and Hacer went above and beyond for us.  One caution is that there is a lingering odour in the hotel.  We kept our room window open and that helped. 

Boutique hotel in Nisantasi area of Istanbul 

Always feel good to go back to this hitel , most amazing location , well design room , great spa and good service are main reasons for me to go back every time in Istanbul ,. I highly recommend to stay at this hotel mainly because of the great location .

Great location

Location was good although very noisy street . I did not like the attitude of the administration as they were not honest and fair in charging my credit card.I took a walk in reservation with room rate plus 15 Euros for breakfast but  I was charged 3 days of breakfast for my wife while she came down for breakfast only once. Myself was charged once 15 euros without taking breakfast . The managers refused to refund

Wherever I am going to say will not help ! Why because I don’t see anything about the hotel will get back to anything. Wherever I don’t like to make bad reviews about any place around . 

But this hotel make me crazy with Hospital and service they provide. 

And I can’t believe I stay one long time in this hotel and I don’t see any Hotel manager our Manager of the hotel . 

One good I must say great area around the hotel and the best concierge team really big thanks to this two man in my photos . 

They help me with all I need and I ask, I wish they can move to better hotel like St. Regis our The Ritza Carlton, we stay there and all was great .
