Stayed here by chance with my original accommodation unsuitable, what a lucky find! Hotels have to be put into context, you do not expect a 3-star to be a 5-star, but Certosa Hotel is trying its best to give you the maximum experience it can provide! The rooms are decorated lavishly, in a grande 'old-school' manner and the staff, especially at reception, are friendly, insightful and accommodating. The only negative is that the building itself needs a fresh lick of paint.
