Although the initial impressions were not favourable, beside/under a fly over, tired decor, surly greeting, things rapidly improved. Overall the staff were very helpful, albeit limited in their English. The rooms were clean and functional. The breakfast was typical of such an establishment, although the coffee was freshly served and or made on request. the hotel itself is situated across the river from the older and more beautiful part f the town, the district although run down was friendly with a couple of bars going out of their way to be friendly and helpful and serving fruit and focaccia with our drinks. for a low cost hotel this would be recommended. there was secure parking at no cost as a benefit.
