We were looking for a place close to home, we are from Genoa, convenient for the trails and so looking on the booking site we came across these apartments. Very slim choice, new apartments, very comfortable, with everything necessary for a good stay, there was even the phon.

What a fabulous weekend.

Our stay at Portico was great. The view from the 3 bedroom apartment is splendid. You can see the Mediterranean sea from up here.
The rooms are spacious and very well maintained and the host who stays in the adjacent house is very helpful. The heating needed some tweaking to get us warm but everything works well.
Our stay though 1 night was memorable.

Note: The drive to the place is easy though curvy. Be sure to adjust your nav as it can take you along shorter routes which are tough to drive when dark. So best to stay on the main road.

Il Portico, Italy

We were traveling with my husband on a motorcycle around Italy, moving every day. We booked a hotel in the morning, we went in the evening. We booked Portico also through a booking, in the booking time section I chose 20-21h, and the last option was 21-22h. Cancellation was free until 18:00, but the money was written off immediately after booking... The bank then confirmed that it was exactly a transaction. We arrived at the hotel at 21:20 and found a missed call from the booking (the hotel did not call).

Left on the street / Left without bed

...because of the price, I thought there were problems... and instead of finely furnished apartments, they're not essential for tourists, fresh, varied, clean and with a great view.

I didn't expect that.

We booked this place in February for the bridge at the end of April. We found calls on our cell phone the very day we arrived, we answered, they told us that the booking had been cancelled. They had given our apartment to other people. We had to sleep on the street practically. We called booking, which we had booked, they advised us to find another place. We called in February saying if the booking was confirmed and if we could pay cash on arrival. They tried to withdraw the money but it wasn't enough and then they cancelled the booking, that's the reason.

The houses are well located, in the middle of nature, only 2 km walking from Moneglia Railway Station. 
It's a good location even you have a car or if you are coming by foot. Just download a good map (Maps.me is perfect) and follow the road until you'll see a sign on the right with Facciu direction. Follow the path into the olive forest and in 15-20 minutes you'll get upstairs in a road, 100 metres from teh houses. 
You'll find there all that you need: kitchen, spacious bathroom and dormitory, nice view over the mountains and sea. Everything is very clean and the owner is a nice person. 
I definetly recommend this accomodation for a Cinque Terre trip, outside the tourist crowd.

Perfect stay close to Cinque Terre

We stayed one Saturday night, we were passing through. Recently renovated apartment and equipped with all the comforts, including the private car park which is not far from Liguria. The owner assisted us on arrival (because satellite navigation services indicate a route along the trip of the necessary from Moneglia). The availability of the same pleasantly surprised us. Spacious rooms and new furnishings, but above all a fabulous view.
