We stayed one night as this was close to the Pistoia Zoo and on the way to Pisa. We were warmly welcomed. There is a nice room with water, tea and snacks that is open all the time. Our room was very comfortable with two fans. That was needed as it was very hot the day we visited and there was no air-conditioning. There are one or two parking spaces at the B&B. Take care with GPS, as there are some one way streets. But it was not too hard to find. Breakfast was nice with good coffee available. The bed was very comfortable. The rooms are decorated with various wall paintings reflecting the name of each room--very colorful. I would gladly stay here again, with the exception of very hot weather. WiFi was free and fast enough for what we needed (uploading pictures). The price was very reasonable.

Nice Place with Friendly Hostess

The B&B is located just off a fairly busy street in Monsummano.  Parking at the B&B is limited, but there is a public parking facility very close by.  The rooms are quite large and whimsically decorated in varying themes.  We stayed in "Sunshine."  The bed was very comfortable.  The shower is located in the bedroom, while the private bathroom is behind a closed door accessible only from inside the room.  A tea room located just past the entry provides a small refrigerator and the necessary appliances to make a cup of tea or instant coffee.  Additionally, there are numerous small snack items. The breakfast selection was the best I've seen in an Italian B&B.  Plenty of fresh pastries, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, toast, jams, butter, cereal, fresh fruit, tea, coffee (even cappuccino on request!).  Stephania is a very gracious hostess and extremely accommodating. The only negative is the small, but functional, toilet area.
