The hotel was both beautiful and rustic. What made our stay exceptional was the staff. Claudia made us very welcome and couldn't do enough to help take our breakfast and dinner orders. The manager was very kind and offered us the first night free of charge as there was a small dinner party booked in and he was worried they may disturb us. it was fine and we all slept bery well!
The food was delicious & made more special by the fact that it was their own produce. We would definitely return.

A wonderful stay

It is was a surprise found in a industrial town. The historical building is 150yrs old and beautifully converted into an accommodation with a restaurant downstairs.  Because the B&B is together with the restaurant, the quality of food were fantastic. We had a dinner here and enjoyed the dishes with local ingredients. 
The rooms were very cozy and they had all the essentials, but the most impressive thing was the breakfast  next day. Few different kinds of tart, fruits, cheese and freshly cooked eggs by the order. We couldn't believe the low price for such a high quality service. 
The surrounding area is not pretty but it worth stopping here and enjoy the stay with great food. 

Beautiful historic building with amazing food

We were on our way to Sicily and stayed at Locanda dei Cocomeri for one night.  Our room was spacious, immaculate and our large dog was more than welcome (no charge for him which was very refreshing).  We arrived just as the kitchen was closing but the Staff went out of their way to deliver the most delicious plate of food and wine to our room.  The Staff are superb, taking the time to go through the evening menu with us and just wanting us to have a lovely stay in their beautiful property, which we did.  If you are heading to Sicily or Malta (as we were) this is a perfect place to stay to unwind and recharge the batteries.

Diamond In The Rough

We stayed here 'en famille' for one night at the end of a holiday and wish we could have stayed longer. The farmhouse is beautifully and sympathetically presented with lovely exposed wood and stone throughout. The rooms and en suite bathrooms are pristinely clean. Beds super comfortable.

The farmhouse now hotel/  restaurant is set in lovely gardens despite the approach road not always seeming promising whatever you do - don't give up!

The standard of food in the restaurant at the evening meal was outstanding and delicious (with local produce much from their own farm) as was the breakfast in the morning. If I had to carp some of the bread and cakes were a little dry at breakfast but in the context of a huge and extensive choice of a cold table plus the repeated offers of cooked foods - wonderful scrambled eggs ' a la polonaise' (that is cooked with butter- thank you Claudia)  a rather unworthy carping. 

The quality of welcome was exceptional and apart from that of the gracious owner and his family, special mention must be made of the welcome and attention from the Maitre d' - Alfonso and from Claudia the Polish hotel residence manager -both of whom were so exceptionally helpful - nothing was too much trouble - and so gracefully attentive - it was a real pleasure to meet them both (and the family who owned the hotel). 

The hotel is small, 5-6 rooms but the restaurant caters for non-residents so if you can't stay here make sure you eat here ! You will probably have to book as besides the wedding party all tables were full. Dining areas are separate and so dining feels intimate and relaxed without sacrificing high standards. 

We arrived it felt rather inopportunely just after lunch when there was a large owner-family lunch occurring in the garden and it wasn't quite clear where the entrance/reception was, but within seconds someone came to greet us and then most unexpectedly we were treated to fresh fruit juices, drinks, and an enormous amount of delicious appetizers on the terrace - if we'd known we wouldn't have had  lunch earlier!  Later in the evening there was a wedding party but despite this we had a level of attentiveness of service that is often missing when hotels or restaurants are hosting such occasions  - we never felt overlooked - and the food was wonderful, as was the local wine. (It was somewhat noisy late at night with children from the wedding party but none of us minded, but a prior warning of noise at night might have been wise for some guests).

If possible some water in provided in the rooms would be most welcome - even a small kettle and tea making facilities for us Brits for the early morning kick start!

One of the most welcoming and most enjoyable short stays we have had anywhere. Thank you all at Locanda - Grazie mille e dziekuje bardzo - hope to return soon.

Stayed here for one night. Excellent service with pre dinner drinks and cheese in front of the open fire. Dinner in their restaurant with their own home grown produce. Exquisite food and wine with attentive and friendly service. Top quality in a country location.
