My husband and I stayed at the B. B. Carmassi Palace for 7 nights over Christmas. The B. B. Carmassi Palace is immaculate, stylish decor, very high standard, spotless and clean. Beautiful rooms, lovely breakfast/dining room with original marble floor and wall paintings from the 16th Century. The atmosphere is warm and cosy, and together with the beautifully decorated Christmas tree, the lighting and classical music playing in the background, it was like coming home. There are also two smart lounges where one can relax. The owner Stefano, who speaks english, and his wife gave us a very warm welcome and did everything possible to make us feel at home. The B. B. Carmassi Palace is very quiet, which we loved, overlooking Montecatini vally, and right behind the square of charming Montecatini Alto with many restaurants. Parking, this time of the year was very easy.
