42 reviewsFound this gem of a restuarant down a side street not far from the main square. A family run small hotel & restaurant. We were served by Marco, his brother cooks the meals with mama & papa helping. My husband Mike had the Grigliata Mista Di Carbs consisting of beef steak, cockerel, ribs, sausages & rosticciana with lovely fried potatoes - if you have a large appetite there must have Ben ice a half kilo of meat! I had the Bistecca Di Cinghiale - Wild Boar Steak with grilled peppers, courgettes & aubergine. Marco made sure mine was cooked separately to ensure it was free of contamination from gluten. Had a couple glasses of the local Chianti. Met all the family, such lovely people. If you visit Monticatini you must try this restuarant, I can highly recommend if you like a rustic restaurant with good home cooked Tuscanty food . Thank you Marco and family for such an enjoyable evening X
