We loved our experience staying in this villa as a group of 10 (5 couples). The setting is wonderful beside a working vineyard with olive and fruit trees and walking distance to the local village for pastries, groceries, wine and beer. There is plenty of room and we each had large bedrooms with comfy 4 poster beds and all with ensuite bathrooms. Great memories sitting out under the pergola drinking wine and reflecting over our day trips and planning more. It totally lived up to expectations and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

Wonderful week

Podere Monti is an exceptional location, immersed in the green Tuscan hills, just a few kilometers from Montepulciano, a magnificent village.
The garden is well-kept, the pool clean and welcoming, the house large and tastefully furnished. The kitchen is very spacious with a comfortable table for eating all together. The outdoor barbecue, where you can cook the delicious local Chianina beef, is the perfect complement.
Silvia is an impeccable hostess, ready to satisfy every request. She also manages a cellar and a wine bar in the town center, where you can eat well, taste and buy their excellent wine (Croce di Febo).
Highly recommended!

Perfect Tuscany location

Our week at Podere Monti was magical. My family of twelve had plenty of room to relax and to enjoy each other. We loved sitting by the pool with its beautiful views of the countryside. Tuscan Kitchen chefs provided wonderful meals that will live forever in our memories. Thank you, Silvia! 

50th Wedding Anniversary at Podere Monti

This was my second time staying here with friends. the first time in 2015, when 14 of us  stayed a week. This time there were 7 of us and we stayed 2 weeks. We plan to return again in 2023 or 2024 ( or both!). The villa is absolutely lovely, inside and out. The location is perfect. We would walk into Sant Albino for cappachino and pasties every morning. The afternoons were spent either relaxing at the villa or touring one of the many nearby hill towns. In the evening, we walked into town for dinner at Tre Stelle or La Bottega Marta— both excellent. Twice w had a chef come to the villa to prepare a delicious dinner for us. There is a small grocery store in town too. We were so pleased to become “instant locals” inn town. 

Silvia, the owner,is absolutely lovely. She helped arrange our days and found a driver for us this time ( Remigio), who was very professional and fun, as we didn’t want to have to drive this time. She arranged the chef ( Lucretia), who planned and prepared delicious dinners for us ( with plenty of leftovers). 

Don’t miss taking a tour of Silvia’s winery (Croce de Febo), where we learned about their organic and sustainable production methods and tasted the vino nobile Montepulciano. I even bought a case that she is shipping to the states for me. 

In short, Podere Monti is perfect. It is authentic and delightful.

Perfection!

This restored farmhouse is lovely, the surroundings are gorgeous, Sant Albino is a warm little town. The location close to Montepulciano and the easy drive to Siena, Firenze and other towns is great. The not so great, which is nowhere to be seen in the reviews of the place, in Italian or other languages is that there is a gas company nearby, Air Liquide Italia, which is permanently functioning so if your room faces the factory the noise is permanent sounding like a loud air conditioner, it was impossible to keep the windows open to enjoy the lovely spring weather at night, bring ear plugs!

Beautiful Property

My husband and I booked this farm house to have our wedding. We saw pictures from our wedding planner and we were sold. Once we got there, we realized quickly that the pictures did not do it justice. It more than comfortably house all 15 of us. There were 7 very spacious bedrooms with their own bathrooms that unique and lots of space to entertain on either the main floor, second floor or outside. The gourmet kitchen was something out of a magazine. We could have asked for better accommodations.

Our wedding was held in the vineyard on this property at sunset and was truly a fairy tale thanks to the stunning grounds. Once I receive the formal photo's I will post them. We are already planning on returning for our anniversary.

And they make great wine to boot

Fairy tale Wedding

We visited with 3 other couples in this beautiful villa.  Very classy, roomy, comfortable.  The beds were a little hard for some of us.  Do not plan on using the pool after the middle of October.  The kitchen was roomy enough to cook for all eight of us.  I would recommend this villa for others, but please bring your own dishwasher pods, toliot paper, paper towels and soap for bathing.

Stunning

This villa had everything we could ask for.  Rustic charm, beautiful setting, ideal location. Two minutes to town where we enjoyed Tre Stelle restaurant several nights, the pastry shop and small grocery stores. We traveled with three other couples and found this an ideal location to visit Montepulicano (3k) as a group then head out on our own to Siena, Florence, Pienza, and many breathtaking wineries.

Great location - Great villa

Very spacious villa within walking distance of Sant Albino, bank, market, pastry shop and gas station. Outside grounds were wonderful as were the views. Easy driving distance to all the major hill towns; Montepulciano, Penza, Sienna, Assisi, Cortona to name a few. Beds were comfortable and each had a bathroom. Would be great for larger groups, we only had 6 people so lots of space. 
Only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 was because most of the shower and tub drains were very slow to drain and we had issues with the dish washer. Sylvia was going to follow up once we left to get them fixed. Recommend the Croce di Febo wine tour. 
Overall, loved it and would go back again.
