Location was great, right in the middle of town and easily accessible.  Moreno the owner was super nice and showed us around the unit and answered any questions we had.  Room was very spacious and super clean.  There was double insulated windows so we couldn’t hear any noises from outside.  There was complimentary drinks and wine which was very appreciated!  This was the best stay of our Italy trip! 

Perfect

We stayed here 3 nights and couldn’t have been happier. Great location in the Old Town. Quiet at night when you want to sleep and literally just a few steps from shopping and dining. The owners restaurant/ front desk is also just steps away. Very close to the Monterosso to Vernazza Trail. If we ever go back to Cinque Terre Pierre di Mare will be be our first choice. The owners Moreno and Sabrina treated as as visiting friends. 

Perfect!

Located in Monterosso old town, off a very quaint old-world street. The rooms were quiet, modern, clean & fresh. The  owner was easily found at his restaurant across the street. He was very friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay at Pietre di Mate if we return to this area in the future.

Cozy room befitting the old town setting 

My partner and I stayed for a couple of nights during the warm summer and it was the perfect accomodation for us. The gracious hosts were warm, kind and accessible. The room was just like a hotel in any city but with more space and charm. Highly recommend if you’re staying for a few days to give this place a go. The owner also owns the #1 restaurant in town so obviously his charm extends to his cooking as well! 

Perfect 2 day stay

We loved it here. Moreno and his wife are hospitable, generous and kind!! The room was beyond my expectations was clean, large, with lots of amenities 😊 It was like going home every night and I wanted to stay longer. We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed Monterosso and the other towns too. We mostly just visited the beaches and my husband went cliff jumping but was a perfect end to our Italian holiday!! Moreno went above and beyond his job as an owner at his BnB. He made us feel like family and did whatever he could to make our stay perfect and it was!! Plus, he has an awesome restaurant San Martino Gastronomia that delivered to our room...it was delicious and affordable!! Thank you Moreno!!😊😊 I opened can come back to visit again!!!

Just to Relax

Moreno is a very friendly and helpful host. Lovely touches such as a complimentary bottle of local wine and bottles of water were appreciated. The property is in a quiet location in Monterosso old town with its range of good restaurants. We had a lovely meal in his restaurant San Martino Gastronomia. Breakfast is at a restaurant only a short walk away and Moreno took us there on the first day. We had a wonderful stay and are pleased we chose Monterosso and Pietre Di Mare as our base for 4 days. Unfortunately 3 of the 4 footpaths between the towns (as well as the alternative between Riomaggiore and Manarola) were closed during our visit but  there was still plenty to do and see: we walked from Monterosso to Vernazza; the Ring of Riomaggiore (wonderful views); Levanto to Monterosso via Punta Mesco and would recommend all three. It is also worth going up to Volastra and taking in the view from the footpath to Corniglia. The walk itself is not for the fainthearted but the view is breathtaking.

Perfect Host; Lovely B&B in fantastic location

Located in a quiet sidestreet at the heart of Monterosso, this B&B gets it just right. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. Moreno is an excellent host and we regret our stay coinciding with his weekly closure as his Gastronomia San Martino comes recommended.

Just right

We were delighted with this accommodation the owners Moreno and Sabrina were the perfect hosts, they went above and beyond what I expected. They are very pleasant and friendly and made our experience here even more enjoyable. 
The room was traditionally styled and the bed was very comfortable. 
The location is very central in the old town but still it was very quiet, even more so when the windows were closed so I kept the window opened to hear the clock tower bells ringing early in the morning and the village waking up, all the local ladies talking in Italian one of the things I loved from a previous visit to Monterosso. 
We were also lucky enough to have a meal in their gastronomia San Martin which was absolutely beautiful. 
I cannot recommend this B&B enough and I can only hope that I will be fortunate to return again and stay with Moreno and Sabrina in Pieter di Mare.
