This was a top hotel 45 years ago. Today it is highly recommended for guests who have beautiful memories of that time. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the later built shower cabin is too narrow. Breakfast is not luxurious but fine. Everything is clean and the location is not bad: 5 minutes walk to the historic center. The hotel is also liked by the people, the young lady at the reception as well as the senior chef who is 92 years old and doing her job like 45 years ago.

The glory of the '70s

School trip. Small rooms. Spars. Air conditioning not working. Dirty toilet. Public areas poorly lit. Poor breakfast. Bad coffee and packaged snacks. Elevator not allowed to students. Only teachers. Maybe students didn't pay for overnight stays?

Accommodation to be evicted

Bad hotel and bad kitchen, unproposable and sordidly to avoid. Dirty rooms, poor breakfast, unproposed dinner. Surely to renovate!!! I hope it was a coincidence but reading the other reviews...

Three-way trip

The reviews with more than one ball I don't know where they come from. as soon as I got to bed there was a shoe/swimprint on the bed, the shower water was distantly warm and the bathroom phono sent cold air (so I'm waiting for pneumonia since the icy wind is very strong), found a beautiful bat specimen in the room and a little bit (a vermetto) on the croissants plate... there's nothing else to add I believe... and I hope.

The hotel?

Three non-existent stars, old and outdated furnishings, wallpaper in many damaged rooms, water infiltrations, cold shower, worm in the breakfast cornette dish and cockroach in the bedroom.

The nightmarish hotel

Old 70s TV rooms and carpet-like walls. They were also torn apart and the spine was loose and hanging from the wall. One spine in the whole room.

Hotel I don't know / restaurant incredible 

We got to this hotel late and we're very tired, so we stayed, we couldn't get a hotel in Trieste, the truth, horrible all the central hotels, and there was no place, so we decided to continue. The truth, bad mattresses, badly finished bathroom, ugly. before commenting between their page and showing a hotel, which I didn't see, very prolific for the photo, I write this for people who hire online, who don't fall, now if it's my case, that one travels without a reservation, sometimes you have to stay, because the previous didn't serve you and you don't know how many miles you have to do to get something better, and it's just for one night.

Because there was no other.

We arrived here to stay the night in april 2014 and the first room we were shown to had not been made up.  We then were given another room which was very dingy, was dirty and looked like it was from the 1960s.  Before going up to the first room we stood at 2 lifts for several minutes that turned out not to be working, which the staff didn't tell us about.  For the cost, this place is terrible...they say they're renovating so maybe other rooms could have been better than the 2 we saw.  I'd avoid.
