Vittorio Veneto

I really enjoyed my stay at the Vittorio Veneto, I stayed four nights it's well worth the money, the room was spacious with it's own bathroom the shower was nice and hot, clean towels were left for me each day, the air conditioning was quite and cool and operated by a remote control, there was also a TV, the room also had a balcony overlooking the courtyard, it is nicely situated near the station where it's possible to catch a train to nearby attractions, but Napoli itself is a great city to explore. The area around the hotel is OK and there's plenty of street food to be had, there are plenty of bargain shops and market stalls. For those who say that the area is scary, I can imagine what sort of people they are, those that expect luxury for a modest price or the kind of people that expect everyone to speak English but if you are that particular do some research first or get a package deal to Benidorm where there are many fish and chip shops and fat men walking around wearing football shirts or spend more and stay in one of the Grand Hotels in Santa Lucia or Sorrento. The staff were friendly and helpful and were able to speak English although not needed for me as I speak Italian. I never tried the wifi, I use my mobile phone data. I would definitely stay at this hotel again but I'd try and get room overlooking the street.
