its my first time to join the Motorcycle Tour with my Husband. We always stop in a place for a overnigth in Hotel. We are very Happy to see this Hotel. Its a perfect location( for restaurants, Bar happy and shoppping  of course) even i just done window shopping 😀😀,its only a walking distant. The staff are so friendly, its clean and most of all a nice View at your Balcon.  The price also is reasonable  with breakfast. For sure we will come bavk again..Its a recommended Hotel. 

Best Hotel

We based ourselves in Ortisei whilst in the Val Gardena, and spent 3 nights in this hotel.  I was intrigued why the last English review on TA dates back to 2015 – judging by the mix of people we met at breakfast, it perhaps draws a larger number of local tourists vs foreigners (which is perfectly fine by me and a positive validation) – the hotel is a real gem.  We were met by the friendly owner Walter (speaks perfect English) and immediately provided an upgraded room upon an early check-in.

Location : Located just outside the pedestrianized zone of Ortisei, the location is very central and convenient.  Free onsite parking is included.

Stay : We had a room on the top floor (with a slanting ceiling being just under the roof – quirky, not inconvenient) with a balcony offering a scenic view.  The room was well furnished, with a spacious bathroom.  Breakfast was a good spread- and the freshly baked, super-flaky croissants were exceptional.  As residents of the hotel, we received (i) a Val Gardena Activ card which allowed free access to all buses in the region and free/concessional participation in events (ii) free access to the nearby Dolomit spa and pool

Service : Very friendly with personal attention to all guests.  Walter was always available, and provided lots of helpful tips around where to visit, trekking and walking routes etc. – we enjoyed our many chats after a day’s explorations.

Overall, a solid, reliable choice for charming Ortisei.

Renovated boutique hotel, very very clean, and centrally located

Spent 4 nights here on a recent trip to the Dolomites. The garni is right in the center of town on the main street and very easy to find. Everything is an easy walk away - restaurants, shops, supermarkets (there is one right across the street), lifts, hiking paths. Walter at the front desks greets you with a friendly smile and is always there to help you with an advice and suggestions for a hike, restaurant, or offer info about anything you need to make the best of your stay. He is a most gracious host and his kindness and efficiency are phenomenal. We had a beautiful large corner room facing the  street - very comfortable and equipped with everything you need - comfortable beds, seating area, sofa, minibar, functional bathroom, fast wifi. And everything was spotless clean. Breakfast offered variety of items and was delicious. One of the best coffee and butter croissants I've had during my trip were here. We loved it so much here and didn't want to leave. Stay here, you will love it too!

You feel like home here

We stayed in this lovely small hotel in the city of Ortisei during our September vacation.
We loved the spacious, clean comfortable view with balcony looking onto the main street.
Breakfast was delcious with cereal, cheese, breads, apple strudel--yummy and assortment of beverages.  It was easy to find as we drove into town, parking right out front.  Everything is in walking distance-groceries, shopping, lifts, hiking paths and restaurants.  Our only wish was the weather had been better as it was foggy in the mountains and not really worth taking a lift to hike, but we were given excellent advice on alternatives by Walter--and no one can control the weather:)  WiFi was excellent!

We were very fortunate to have found and stayed with Walter and his family in September.  Get Walter to tell you about his family's.love of hockey which is near and dear to all of us from Canada,   Our rooms were spacious and clean and there was an elevator to help with the luggage..  The hotel  was very reasonably priced, easy to find, had car parking available and was located within very easy walking distance to the center of town.  Good German dishes are served at the recommended restaurant Mauriz-Keller which provides a 10% discount with a card from the hotel.  In the morning, we enjoyed a very good breakfast in a bright and cheerful room.  We would definitely return when back in the area..
