Everything about this property was amazing. Location, bed, villa, etc... The young man Fabrizio (please excuse if I mispelled) was cordial and extermely professional. I wish we had planned a longer stay.

Great property, just outside of Orvieto.

Our stay in Borgo Pirolino was wonderful in every way. Fabrizio and his family make every guest welcome and comfortable on their gorgeous property, which has been their family's working farm for generations. The apartment/bungalows are so rustic (recently renovated barns and farm outbuildings) and ours had unobstructed views across the fields and over to Orvieto...a truly stunning sight! Fabrizio is such a genuine and hospitable guy. He even helped us sort some tricky tech issues with an Italian speaking car and an iPhone. Despite the frustrations and time it took, he smiled all the way and assured us it was no trouble!! The grounds of Borgo Pirolino are beautiful and immaculate and the apartments are spacious, yet cosy and have fairly well-equipped kitchens and gorgeous bathrooms. But it's the view and the atmosphere outside, on your balcony/ patio that is really magical. An easy 2hr drive to Fiumincino, yet a world away in the gorgeous Umbrian countryside. Thanks again Fabrizio. We'll definitely return!

Wow! What a location! What a view!

We had a wonderful visit, far too short though.  The accommodations were impeccable and our host was gracious and so helpful.  The property was well maintained, we could easily park our car and having a coffee maker in our room was a welcome feature. If we are fortunate enough to return we will definitely rebook for a longer stay.

Perfect place

Our one bedroom apartment was equipped with the essentials we needed. It was very clean and comfortable yet a little rustic. Very close to Orvieto (10 minute drive) and an easy drive. There was a large car park on the same side of town as you approach from, 3 euro for a few hours and very simple to park here. It was also a great location for a trip to Civita di bagnoregio. The gardens and surrounds of the apartment were lovely with views of Orvieto. I'd recommend for those who want apartment facilities (e.g kitchenette),on a budget or with a car that needs parking. 

Great location!

We stayed here 4 nights as a base for exploring Orvieto and area.  The owner/manager Fabrizio was exceptionally friendly and charming, as were his father and other relatives living on-site.  We rented a small 1-BR apartment upstairs in a renovated outbuilding, which was very comfortable.  Outside was spectacular, with several seating areas in beautiful gardens and views of the cliff-side of Orvieto several miles away.  We experienced no problems at all, and recommend the place highly.
