The place itself is nice and clean and have a calm atmosphere. In the weekend however there are many Italian families using the pool area but this if you love Italy, it just fulfills the authentic experience of the Italian lifestyle. In the weekdays there are plenty of space. The pools are very safe with lifeguards so they are ideal for smaller children whereas older ones might miss some excitement. The lake is only 7 minutes away (20 if you stop at Francesco for ice cream) and the water is clean and calm. The apartments are very spartanly equipped and, in the kitchen, there is a very small collection of tools so if you enjoy cooking your own wonderful Italian dishes it is necessary to bring your own kitchen equipment. The immediate area is nothing special but as a starting point for excursions it is perfect. Cities like Verona, Mantova, Parma, Venice, Bologna and Milano are only a few hours away and small romantic cities like Sirmione or Peschiera del Garda are closer. The mountains are nearby providing a lot of possibilities like hiking, mountain biking and much wilder activities. The staff are very helpful, and we had a flat tire repaired in less than an hour in a local garage. All in all, a great place for relaxing and excursions.
