What was good
The apartment is located in the very centre, 2 min from the main walking street, some 10 min from the harbour. There is a nice view from the terrace and the terrace in general is very cute (but we didnt have a chance to use it because it was a winter).
What was bad
Several things in the place were not working or were decayed - 3 lamps were not working, the closets lights randomly switched in and off, there were scratches on furniture and there was a feeling that nothing has not been renewed since the opening of the place decades ago. There is a very minimal internal sound isolation. The feeling is that you live in a big communal flat where you can here every step of a neighbor. The breakfast was very poor in comparison with all other places we stayed in Sicily. The private bathroom seems somehow artificially added to the room and it somehow feels that the toilet is in the middle of the living room. Maybe because of slightly transparent toilet walls that let the person in the room see the silhouette of the person in the bathroom. For the owner - it could be nice to be more helpful. The room had a menu with pizzas to order and their prices. We wanted to order a pizza but the owner said that now that menu is not relevant, only in summers. It could be nice for the owner to come up with the alternative option to get home delivery and to organise it but it didn't happen.
